Friendliness of all staff and Betty, Valley view, Private terrace, Heated swimming pool
Shower a bit weak, Sometimes a bit of road noise.
room and separate kitchen and terrace with fireplace. especially the last one is very beautiful
Nature around, calmness The owner is kind You can walk and see the river You can eat real wood in the restaurant until 16:00 As if you live in a chalet in the mountains and you can light a fire if you are cold.
You can't order food or drinks other than breakfast The price is a bit high because the bungalow is quite narrow but well equipped.
The rooms are very comfortable, nicely decorated and very nice furnishings. Very nice garden with a slope down to the river. The bedroom had a fireplace and it was nice. Good toiletries. There was access to a very nice open living area with a fireplace and a well equipped shared kitchen to stay for a few days. The place is relatively close to Nanyuki and restaurants. The price is very reasonable. The team that runs the hotel is very friendly and always ready to help and give advice.
Some might find breakfast a little boring, but you can make your own coffee, you have sandwich bread to toast, lots of fruit and a lot of yogurt, which was enough for us. There is always a fully equipped kitchen (including a large shared refrigerator), which means there is an opportunity to do something else on your own. There is no restaurant on site, but there is a trout restaurant a stone's throw from the hotel (unfortunately only open until 16:00), but there are other restaurants a short drive away, some of them very good.
The furnishings are very nice and beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The fully equipped kitchen is shared with another bedroom. We can make coffee however we want. Fireplace in the bedroom as well as in the living room, which is shared with another bedroom. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The little walk to the river is pleasant. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help, including with battery problems. We have just passed through, but plan to return to stay longer.
There is no restaurant on site, but there is something to cook and there is an excellent restaurant a short drive away. There is a trout restaurant nearby but closes at 16:00. Breakfast is limited to a few toasts, a few fruits, large yoghurt per person and coffee or tea that you can make to your liking and we loved that.
