it was an apartment
bad beds - the keys didn't work - no agreements were kept - it was dirty -
The apartment matches the photos. We were probably one of the first occupants because many of the kitchen utensils and crockery were still in their original packaging. The apartment is pleasant, construction, decoration and household appliances of good quality. The building staff are friendly and helped us in any way they could with our various requests. It is located 3 minutes walk from the metro station on the Red Line, which is convenient when visiting Washington DC. The apartment is located in an area that is undergoing transformation. This area is not of much tourist interest, but pleasant restaurants and bars are starting to appear here (the Union Market food court, a 10-minute walk away, should satisfy all tastes).
There were probably too many of us among the first tenants, and we suffered from problems with young people: - The information about the Wi-Fi connection was incorrect. It took about 48 hours to get the correct code and several calls to the booking hotline back and forth. - The inlet of water from the washing machine was not open and was inaccessible to us. It took about 3 days to resolve the issue. It is a pity that the equipment we needed was not tested earlier. Hopefully the next one won't have the same problems. We did not like the bed in the room at all: - By European standards, the bed is ridiculously high (spring + booster + very thick mattress). The litter should be about 1 meter high, this is dangerous. -Also very uncomfortable, there are slats in the base of the bed, but there is a booster above the base of the bed, on which the mattress rests and which consists of a solid board without any damping, despite the thickness of the mattress, the set is too rigid. - The bed is not wide (smaller than queen size) and the 3-piece assembly, if one of the sleepers moves while sleeping, the whole assembly will wobble...
