Pathetic value for money and a dead mouse in the apartment

The location of the apartment is good, next to the Flatiron building.

The apartment was cleaned absolutely unsanitary, even a dead mouse was found under the sofa, we told the owner to wash thoroughly, but they removed the mouse and left the sheets / towels. Of the three exits to the street, there were two blinds that did not work, and a window that could not be opened, unless, of course, they were cleaned for a long time. It was advertised as a luxury apartment with photographs that supposedly belonged to another house that I owned, but had nothing to do with where we were staying and we didn't see any photographs until we arrived. The day before entering, the landlord told us that payment for the stay must be made half in cash and half in credit, although he never indicated this once on the booking announcement. It was admittedly a value for money joke because the bed in the room left a lot to be desired even for a roadside motel.
