Spectacular views, all facilities are very clean and comfortable, everything is the same as in the published images, great for honeymoon or traveling together.
The location overlooks the city of Kona. I had a luxurious time enjoying 100% Kona coffee grown on the premises while watching the beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean every day. It's a little off the main road, so if you don't move, it feels like it's quiet. On the contrary, at night, the sounds of birds and insects from the surrounding forest are louder. But it's also comfortable. Breakfast was yogurt, granola, fruit, and French toast while looking out at the Pacific Ocean, which was healthy and filling. Basically bare feet in the facility. Special socks are provided in each room so that you can walk inside the building, but it feels good to walk barefoot on the polished floors.
After 18:00, all the staff went home and no one was there, and the common facilities were locked, so it was essential to carry the room key. Early check-in is good (for those who check-in after that, there are instructions left on the front door). Of course, a rental car is a must. Restaurants within walking distance are limited, and most of the recommended restaurants are around Kona.
The staff made us feel very welcome. Very polite, kind and caring. The rooms were wonderful, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom nice and everything was very clean. The facilities (pool, jacuzzi, etc.) were perfect! Clean and overlooking the city of Kona. The common areas are very well decorated and enjoyable to use. It was a fantastic stay. Thanks again to the Holualoa Inn team!
