What was odd... The bathroom didn't have its own sink and it took a bit of getting used to brushing your teeth in the kitchen. The residential complex is beautifully built. Every morning the gardener starts his work under the balcony at 8am with a rake and a quiet blower. The greeting at the front desk was quick and rather unfriendly. So many terms and conditions to sign quickly and everything dangles in fluent English. Lots of rules of conduct at the Kona Islander Inn. At the very beginning we were surprised by the reception. The information sheet clearly states: WE ARE NOT A HOTEL, please contact the landlord if you need anything. So we have to go to the landlord for every toilet paper? No, we bought it ourselves, it was really too difficult for us. When we were happy to find a parking spot in front of the hotel on the first day, we parked conveniently in reverse and later there was a note on the car because it was forbidden......Parking violation....
