Efforts need to be made
Friendly staff, spacious room, hotel being renovated so some aspects of the room (armchair, microwave, shower) are new. Well located and easy to find from the highway.
Some elements of the room have not been replaced or renovated, such as the entrance doors (noisy) and connecting doors (you can hear everything from the room next door and you can see 4cm of light), the fridge (rusty inside like outside), the very small coffee maker (also rusty) which cannot be used for tea, the mattress (uncomfortable) and the bedding (bumps all over the duvet and sheets too small for the bed) . The positioning of the two lamps in the room does not allow enough light to work at the desk and the chair placed in front (already stained despite being almost new) is not adjustable at heights to allow the use of 'a laptop. The phones don't work so you have to take the cell phone to call reception when the people in the adjoining room are partying until 3am. The stairwells are unusable because of the works. Breakfast is taken in the room from a reduced choice of products, officially because of sanitary measures, the swimming pool and the gym are closed for the same reasons, and yet at the reception no one is masked, hydroalcoholic gel is not offered and the rooms are cleaned less often. I bought wipes to disinfect the surfaces in the room the day I arrived as there were cup and finger marks all over the place and I had to ask for a bar of soap for the shower as there was no . Sunday my room was only cleaned at 3pm and only because I found the cleaning crew in the hallway. The staff is not very responsive, and is not at all proactive, you have to ask that the coffee and tea be replaced at the reception for example.
