Club Wyndham Ocean Ridge

At check-in, the staff offered all kinds of promotions; a free week's stay in one of their hotels if we listened to their new program for 1.5 hours. We later read online that this is a scam, not a very nice start to the holiday because it sounded very attractive and we almost fell for it. But you are not waiting for that on your holiday.. Furthermore, the living room could be decorated a little more, a little more personal touch with a rug or pillow, some games.

You could wash the floor better, for example. in the bathroom… the door was very poorly cleaned!

You will be asked at check-in if you would like to take part in the free breakfast and will be provided with vouchers. Unfortunately, this breakfast includes a 90 minute presentation about the property and the timing of the purchase, and this is not communicated at check-in. Whoever takes the vouchers takes part in this event. When my wife left to have breakfast with our 3 year old daughter after 40 minutes, I had to repeat her. only after discussion and complaints to the manager the situation cleared up. if we had been properly informed about this at the reception, we would not have come for breakfast at all. then we could finally keep the vouchers that I personally returned unused at checkout. After this experience, we will no longer be booking the Wyndham Hotel or Resort and will not be recommending this hotel. Also, the breakfast was ridiculous and better than any Best Western hotel. Unfortunately, apart from this experience, on arrival we had 3 dirty towels in the bathroom and also 2 used cups were returned to the closet.
