Duman Hotel is located near the historical center of Ankara. It offers modern rooms with toiletries and free Wi-Fi. It is within walking distance from Ulus metro station.
Modern rooms are decorated in a cultural style. Each room has heating, a TV and slippers. Each room has a balcony overlooking historic buildings.
Guests can enjoy a variety of local and international dishes at Ankara Duman's restaurant.
Ankara Duman Hotel is within walking distance of Turkish baths and 5 km from Ataturk Mausoleum.
Just a few hundred meters from Ulus Meydan, the castle and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, the Hadji Bayram Mosque and the Temple of Augustus are within walking distance. Grand Duman is one of the hotels that has long passed its heyday. I really like these hotels for nostalgic reasons. The house is a little run down, unfortunately the top floor with the restaurant and the rooftop terrace are closed; Breakfast is now on the first floor. Despite all this: clean, bed linen and towels are fresh. Toilets and showers are also fresh. If you like simplicity, you can spend the night here. Plus a kettle (for 2 cups) in the room! Another plus for the friendly staff!
Only little things: the shower was a little warm, TV reception was mediocre. The elevator often did not reach the first floor and stopped on the second floor.
