good breakfast
there is no restaurant nearby
the pool is nice
Rooms smell of mold and mildew
Spacious modern bright room overlooking the sea and the Temple of Truth. Quality cleaning. Free kayaks. Sun loungers on the private beach. Delicious breakfasts. Several pools, there is almost always a place in the shade. On weekdays, tourists were not seen in the hotel at all, the beach is completely empty, locals come on weekends, but the workload is still not felt.
The nearest store is 7-10 minutes walk, the cafe is even further. There are no tuk-tuks nearby, so I had to use Grab. During the pandemic, the hotel was run down, it looks tired. The beach was almost never cleaned. The sea is clean, but not very transparent. The bottom is sand, silt / clay, small stones, it is not very pleasant to swim at low tide.
View. Near the Temple of Truth
The sad fate of hotels in Thailand, in which tourists have ceased to live. Everything fades and fades. In the literal sense of the word, the room had a musty smell of fungus. Apparently no one has lived in it for a long time. On the ceiling of the balcony, the pigeons made a nest and had chicks. Naturally, everything was plentifully covered with droppings. No more than five rooms were occupied in the entire hotel. I lived alone on the floor. Breakfast is poor. There are currently no restaurants nearby. Saved by the only Thai street food, there were two or three dishes. The facade of the hotel begins to fall apart from the fungus. Soon, if there is no repair, the fungus will eat everything!
do not have
After waiting for more than an hour to check in, I was downgraded from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor, where I can't see the ocean because of the trees. If you don't ask for a baby bed, they won't bring it. It's rather shabby, but it feels like it's ok to have a Mac in the morning.
