Villa Julia is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday in Koh Samui with your family or friends. It has 5 double bedrooms. We were a group of 12 (additional children) and the staff easily provided us with two extra beds to one of the bedrooms (for an additional fee). The house is beautifully and functionally designed. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The gigantic living room is connected to the kitchen and has glass walls connecting it to the relaxation area and outdoor swimming pool. The pool is great! Our children spent most of their free time there :) At our disposal was the staff who prepared breakfast for us every day and cleaned the kitchen and rooms. Everything was supervised by our guardian James, who efficiently responded to our questions and possible needs, and also helped in booking trips around the island and renting cars. The beach nearby is sandy and intimate. It is an ideal place for fans of Kitesurfing. When it's windy, the Polish Kite school has classes here. It is possible to hire a private cook who can cook lunch and dinner for an additional fee. We took advantage of it. This is a nice option if you don't want to go to a nearby town every day.
The only downside is the walk down to the beach. The Villa is located approx. 50-100 m from the sea, but recently the beach has been taken by water and at the moment it is almost impossible to go down to the beach by the Villa. You have to follow the path a little further (about 500 m) and there is no problem. The villa is a bit off the beaten track, outside the town. The nearest shop and local restaurants are about 1 km from the house. There are no tuk-tuks in this part of the island, so it is necessary to rent a car or scooter to get around the island. We recommend this option :)
Family vacation for 16 days in a fabulous villa! It's very simple, I don't see any flaws in this villa. Whether it's the location, the architecture, the services (James the butler upstairs, the cleaning ladies ...) there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything is luxurious and it is really nice to feel so pampered. It is impossible not to appreciate, everything is on top. Thanks again to the entire Villa Julia team for allowing us to have unforgettable moments with the family, but also in their company.
