The upstairs bathrooms were not prepared for guests.
The accommodation was very clean and is within walking distance to the large weekend night market. Other night markets along the river are also within walking distance, as are the bars there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one of the receptionists helped us communicate with a ferry operator.

In 5 days, we have never managed to have our room cleaned, despite the small poster on our door asking for it, and verbal requests. we had to come down every day in the evening and ask for towels, water, etc. That said, the premises were very clean when we arrived, so perhaps cleaning is only done before people arrive and after people leave.
The spacious room, the huge bed and the impeccable wifi. Quite quiet neighborhood
Badly soundproofed because you could hear everything in the hallways, the bed was super hard. WARNING do not book a taxi / van for other islands of the hostel because they go through an agency that is not at all reliable (we took more than 4 hours to reach Koh Lanta by changing vans twice and especially by paying an extra 300 baths which was not planned at all!)
