The rooms even look clean and well maintained, but everything is a little abandoned
Completely dirty and abandoned reception No one was there when we arrived, they didn't answer the phone or respond to messages in a timely manner
Nice and friendly owners. Bungalow in a quiet location. Cozy restaurant with good food. Scooter for rent.
The coconut garden is run by a young Dutch couple, Jill and Aegon. From the very beginning, you are greeted with your name written on a lost board, haha. If you have any questions, they can help you a lot. Nice pool to take a dip. The bungalows are simple but what do you really need? Bed, fan and bathroom. We will definitely return. Unfortunately had to tell earlier due to the Corona pandemic. But it has everything for an ideal place for backpackers.
Friendly and calm
- great hosts! (Organize whatever you need/want, tip for trips,...) - great, quiet place but central (note, rating refers to the south of the island, within walking distance: pier, restaurants, beach) - very good breakfast - safe and cheap scooters for rent - hot water in the shower with high water pressure - great bar with billiards, darts and delicious cocktails on site
- the mattress was quite uncomfortable because you could feel every spring
