Nice stay with attention to details, cozy owner Marcus and his wife Babette, always time for a chat and a nice drink from Marcus after dinner.
Pool was nice but a bit too warm to cool off in.
staff was friendly. In the restaurant we were always served by a very nice waiter. (Name Esala Jayasinghe)... We had the best Rice and Curry there... The pool and grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
The bungalows are a bit old.
Very nice pool on the edge of a superb beach, but you can't swim in it (dangerous). At night, a few kilometers from the hotel, sea turtles can be seen coming to lay their eggs on the beach.
In the case of a group presence, service for solo travelers is slow (one hour for coffee).
1. the hotel was empty. settled in a staff room opposite the entrance. 2. wi-if does not work in the room, but it does not work well in the lobby. 3. upon arrival, they settled for a long time, they could not understand that I booked the room through booking. 4. the hotel is on the outskirts, without a car it is not an option to stay there.
Very nice, well maintained complex right on the beach. Beautiful swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. Breakfast was right on the beach. It was easy to get to Tangalle by tuktuk (about 5 minutes / 400 rupees, i.e. less than 2 euros). Friendly staff! Restaurant right on the beach. Sun loungers were also available. Very nice stay despite Corona :)
