It was an exceptionally pleasant stay!
Very beautiful garden with many plants, shrubs, flowers and trees. Banana trees, avocado trees, mango trees. There are beautiful paths. View from the arcades on the 3rd floor (open area). Bus stop in front of the house. The owner lent us a travel book.
The mattress was very hard. One of the three mosquito nets was partially damaged.

Tranquility
Quinta is a great place for a relaxing holiday. Far from the hotel area, but very well located. Caring hosts.

A good address to remember about staying for a few days.
Nice rooms on the ground floor with garden furniture where you can eat or relax. Possibility to park your rental car easily and free of charge in a cul-de-sac located directly in front of this accommodation.
Sometimes dogs bark in the immediate vicinity. Almost all sun loungers around the pool have broken slats. Bus lines 31 and 31A stop at the foot of this hotel, but they don't run often enough to get to or from the center of Funchal.

A suitable place to stay and a starting point for active holidays on the island.
The house has been lovingly restored (former hotel) with a very nice garden and a view of the port of Funchal. Nice and very friendly hosts. The right place to stay.
No negative comments.
