Very helpful friendly staff, even gave coffee to go for an early check out. Pretty close to the airport and SGR accessible and safe. Basic room but spacious bed, clean and hot shower. A footbridge takes you over the highway in a few minutes to bustling and noisy Mlolongo, full of stalls, cafes and a few hidden pleasure ladies. The neighborhood is much less unsafe than is often assumed, as a white tourist is best off walking on his own even at night, as long as you avoid drunks and keep your phone in your pocket and especially pay attention to where to go because the road is bad and poorly lit.
The noise from the Mlolongo nightlife is very audible and so is the rain. The hotel is not on an asphalt road, it is dirty when it rains. The bedding seemed very rough, the mattress was softer than usual in Kenya. A bit gloomy, only the restaurant was a bit decorated. In the rain there is no electricity, in the morning on departure we had to pack up with a phone as a flashlight.
