The hotel is located on Piano Cuartara, a plateau above the harbor, where traces of a prehistoric settlement can still be seen.
The Quartara Resort is decorated with teak furnishings and the finest Sicilian handicrafts. Admire the volcanic stone floors from Caltagirone and the hand-decorated tiles from Santo Stefano di Camastra.
The hotel staff and owner were especially friendly and available, and were full of resources in response to our needs (eg visit tips, diving equipment and adapter rentals). We also appreciated the friendliness of the driver (taxi is included in the room rate on travel days).
