The cupboards are quite worn, doors, drawers and shelves are hanging, unfortunately we could not use the cupboards in this way, which is not the most pleasant from a comfort point of view. There is still room for improvement in terms of cleanliness.

The manager does not speak English or German which meant it was very difficult to send us an email to hand over the keys and we couldn't reach anyone with further questions. Accommodation in Castello is very unusual, everything is available, everything you need for a vacation, the view is amazing, but you have to consider that there is no parking space for the rented car, so there is always a relatively steep climb to the apartment. The car had to be parked in the village, which we did not mind, as we are actively involved in sports. However, you have 65 km to Pisa, not as stated ... so we always had a lot of time on the way to the sea, which was complicated by the trip through the mountains. The background is awesome, but if you want to get to the sea as quickly as possible, you have no chance here.
