L' Antico Pozzo Country House

- The room temperature was cold, below 18°C. Reported the anomaly to a lady in charge of the place, I was assured that the rooms would heat up shortly, since the underfloor system needed time... Despite having been there in abundance to activate it before the arrival of a guest, communicated days in advance and in a precise time slot. After several hours, I called to solicit and received no response; the lady disappeared and none of the staff were present to make up for it. To my complaints via Whatsapp, I was answered in questionable ways that a technician had been contacted and that the heating would soon "start working properly again". But this did not happen. - The bedroom, located on the ground floor, is in questionable hygienic conditions: dead insects (bedbugs?), cobwebs, traces of mold, floors and other signs that indicate poor cleaning. - The even colder bathroom smelled of damp, the worn out, colorful towels, perhaps more suited to domestic use, the curtain at the window with patches of dirt of dubious origin, the previously opened bottles of shower gel on the shelf above the sink on which they lay hair, hair and various dirt that denoted an absent or poor cleaning. - The kitchen made available to guests was smelly and messy, it housed a bucket for the floors with lots of rags immersed in dirty water, as well as dirty were sponges and rags on the sink and the light switches were dirty. Having taken note of this situation and given the absence of staff in the facility to deal with, I left the facility early to move to another one.
