Nice apartment, with some flaws

The location is good, the house is 10 minutes from Lecce and 20/30 minutes from the Adriatic coast. In addition, the owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of useful information to have a good time.

The presentation of the apartment was missing some important details such as a dangerous spiral staircase that you can climb to get into the apartment, almost impassable with suitcases, a mezzanine with a bed, the inability to keep the air conditioner on, except when you are at home (in August), and finally, the kitchen had no kitchen towels to dry dishes and/or hands, and a very old fridge where the freezer didn't freeze anything, hence part of the fridge didn't cool water bottles.

Ideal location in the heart of Salento

The hotel is located in Lizzanello, a delightful village very close to Lecce and all the most beautiful beaches of Salento. Francesca, the owner, is a discreet and helpful person who will welcome you in the best possible way, as well as give you some practical tips for Salento, both on the beaches and on the cuisine. The house is very beautiful and is equipped with all the utensils, especially the air conditioning, as well as the kitchen, as for the bathroom / bed (sheets, towels, pots, plates, cutlery, etc.). You are very close to Cavallino mall where you can shop and buy any useful stuff. For breakfast, I recommend going to the central bar in Lizzanello, a few minutes walk, right behind the apartment.

It is very hot in the attic where the bed is placed, but you just have to turn on the air conditioning when you return from the sea and then in the evening it will be a very good temperature..
