Riva del Caolino

Electricity was very adventurous, bedrooms poorly lit, everything a bit unclean. Mosquito net broken (so we couldn't ventilate at night), shower head broke. The garden is not well maintained, the lawn is not mowed, the terrace is dirty. Photos give the wrong impression.

The house is in dire need of repairs (damp walls, strong musty smell, mold in the children's room), electricity is also an adventure. The garden looks unkempt. The bathroom is old (especially on the first floor); kitchen equipment is old. There are a lot of old things lying around the house, because of which the musty smell intensifies. Lake Maggiore cannot be reached directly from the holiday homes complex (reeds), the town center/beach is a 30 minute walk. The photos of the lake in the description show the lake of the months, this is misleading.

No special hygiene measures were observed in the house! My wife cleaned and disinfected everything we used, the dishes were partially rusted and probably participated in the last war. My son could not sleep in the nursery, because every morning scratching sounds came from the wall to the neighboring building, probably rodents, because no one lived in the neighborhood. The lake is nearby, but you can't get into the water because of the reeds and you have to look for an entrance by car, the photos do not correspond to reality.

The equipment was partly shabby. Sleeping in the gallery for 2 people was too warm as there was no window, no air conditioner, only a fan.
