What was the biggest distraction from our stay was the cleanliness or lack of it. Upon arrival, they found: 1) a dirty barbecue and garbage on the street; 2) a living room and a veranda with a dirty floor covered with animal hair; 3) dog droppings scattered around the garden; 4) cigarette butts by the pool; 5) beer caps and papers left on the kitchen floor; 6) bathrooms appear clean but lifting up the toilet seat reveals remnants from previous use; 7) the faucet of one of the bidets is completely blocked; 8) Dirty sheets left on the beds; 9) dust everywhere; 10) The windows on the veranda have not been cleaned for a long time. Unfortunately, with small children and a girl, we could not limit ourselves to simple signals and waiting outside, but were forced to take measures to improve the situation. The next morning, Giovanni and Anna cleaned the bathrooms, the facade of the villa and the floors. Some electrical outlets were separated from the wall, the cables were visible and dangerous for children. There are air conditioners in only two bedrooms and the rooms upstairs are very hot.
