Exceptional setting, in the heart of nature, authentic, calm, rustic but very comfortable. Splendid views. Very comfortable bedding. Very good home cooking.
It would have been nice to have a small playground for children, because apart from the swimming pool (too cold at certain times of the year), there are no other activities on site. The restaurant was unfortunately closed, due to the season, but the hosts still organized an exclusive dinner for us one evening during our stay, and recommended alternatives in the area, which were very good.
Farmhouse surrounded by greenery, with a fantastic view over the Pisan valleys, an enchanting place from which to leave for the countless historic cities worthy of note: Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Pisa, Siena and the surrounding municipalities such as Peccioli and Montaione. The kindness of the owners is the background to the atmosphere that reigns in this wonderful place where time seems to have stopped and nature finds its maximum expression. As a welcome gift, we greatly appreciated the oil and wine produced by the Cucule company, the good pecorino cheese purchased I think we will eat it before it can properly season ... A heartfelt thanks to the owners who made us feel at home, we hope to come back to find even the cat friends who have kept us company :-)
