We knew the price of the stay was cheap, but that doesn't justify not having the most basic housekeeping to accommodate people! I didn’t like everything, the building is located in an isolated rural area of ​​Castri di Lecce, next to a complex with wind turbines, in the evening there is no street lighting, so you find yourself in oblivion and pitch darkness. It is accessed from a large garden, fortunately well lit when the building gets desperate... Everything is improvised, the room is unfurnished, dirty and the mattresses are just thrown on one base... we requested sheets and blankets which were extra with 5 euros per person, we received them with blood stains, we asked for a replacement and even the new ones presented the same problem despite the fact that the owner told us that he took them from the "laundry" ... (the sheets literally beat us in their hands, they did not have a cover, which they usually put in the wash). The bathroom was very dirty, there was even an old hornet's nest stuck to the window, in the walk-through room next to the "bedroom" there was a kitchen/living room with a keyless front door so no way to lock yourself inside on the dark nights of the Castries countryside, this last room also there was a fireplace, from which an unpleasant smell of burning emanated, saturating all the rooms of the house. This is a real shame, the structure has a lot of potential as it is spacious and with a large outdoor garden, but unfortunately it is in a bad state, left to chance without any maintenance. Strongly not recommended, spend a little more and avoid this shack.
