Fridge was immaculate
The reception from the owner's representative was very sad: when I contacted her by phone to announce my arrival (11.18), she said that the building was still occupied (check-out from 8 to 11), but it was not so much that produced on gave me a negative impression, I knew very well that I could not enter before 15:00, but the annoyed tone of a person who was disturbed on a Sunday morning. He tells me that Booking didn't report my booking, he would have checked and then called me back. Obviously, there is a reservation, and we agree to meet at 15:00 at the apartment. In the meantime, she sends me a welcome WhatsApp message in which she qualifies as the director of the residence, signs herself as Avv and asks for a deposit of 30 euros. I'm horrified because this is the first time since I used Booking that this is happening to me (but I'm wrong here because, as Lady points out, I didn't read carefully. Mea culpa will serve as a lesson). The lady present, after telling us about the theft of chandeliers and TVs from the property she manages, is very offended when I ask her for a receipt for the deposit I pay, also because she expected her to send a third person in the morning check out and frankly I wanted to have proof. It's a pity, because if we were a little more welcoming, we would have spared both, even all four, of a depressed day that made us afraid that even the people we met in those days might be like the Lady; instead, everyone, and I repeat, all the Piedmontese with whom we communicated during these four days, turned out to be friendly, kind, helpful and smiling. A point in favor of the Lady is the clarity with which she explained how to return the deposit: in particular, my rating is excellent.
