Small, cozy oasis in bustling Kolkata
We chose Ivy House because it was one of the few reasonably priced options yet with great comfort and good amenities and we were not disappointed! Friendly welcome, beautiful room furnished with great attention to detail (fresh flowers in the room and in the bathroom), there is a fan and air conditioning, but we don't need it. Wifi worked fast and great. The breakfast is specially prepared by the chef (you must specify your preferred breakfast time) and it is plentiful! The teahouse next to it also offers delicious food, light and small meals if you no longer want to go out into town. The guest house has only 4 rooms and is located in a pleasant residential area where you can also walk (we recommend Cocoa, a small bakery / pastry shop nearby where you can buy delicious pastries and small meals.). You get free water in your room every day. This was the only place in India where chores knocked us over!
The location is good, not super central, but almost everywhere can be reached by auto rickshaw, Uber, taxi or even tram. The mattress was a little harsh, but you quickly get used to it and sleep well!

Perfect
A tranquil getaway in vibrant Kolkata. Good restaurants nearby. Stylish and comfortable. For this price, you will not find anything better in Kolkata.
The breakfast was mediocre. The cook is not very good. Few fresh products, instant coffee.

wonderful! The interior was stylish, quiet and very comfortable! Above all, the staff was kind. When I told him where I wanted to go, he looked up the bus and printed out a piece of paper with the bus number written on it, so I was able to reach my destination smoothly. I appreciate it very much. Breakfast was gorgeous too! We will definitely stay again next time! Recommended!
It's far from the station, but buses run frequently, so you won't have any trouble getting around.

Small charming boutique hotel
Quiet and pretty hotel off the road. Lovingly furnished and very helpful staff. Wonderful stay in hectic Kolkata

Good address
