The owner Carla and her husband are kind and helpful. Recommended for those seeking peace and quiet without great demands!

What a hidden gem this is. , our apartment (because the bedroom can be closed which was nice) was beautifully furnished (including beautiful photos of the island) The complex is a short walk from the beach, but so surprisingly quiet and with beautiful views of the mountains and greenery. You can also see the sea from the balconies of the higher apartments. Gratiano was very friendly (Carla also emailed but we didn't meet her because she just stayed abroad) and gave us good advice about the area and what to do (we were even allowed to borrow a book with walking directions from him ) We spent a week there and enjoyed the peace and quiet (as the only guests), delicious breakfast (with homemade jams etc. the weather was a bit less). The apartment is conveniently located close to beautiful beaches and fun car rides (for example, we visited the Potami Falls and walked the beautiful walking route from Potami Beach to Megaloman Seitani). Cleaning is done twice a week (including fresh towels) and all essentials are provided. The pool is also large and deep enough to swim in (short) circles and cool off on a hot day.
The last night we were there, there was such a strong wind that we almost never closed our eyes (including due to the fact that tree branches kept crashing into our apartment). Therefore, it would be good to prune this tree (or prune it), but if there is less wind, it will not cause any problems.
Perfect location if you like peace and quiet. Walking distance (500m) from the beach and shops such as a supermarket and a bakery. Rooms are good by Greek standards with more than adequate (kitchen) equipment. The beds are wonderful. Balcony overlooking Mount Kerkis and a distant view of the sea. The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful.

We did not find the owners very friendly. Carla tried her best, her husband preferred not even to say hello. We feel very sorry for the homeless animals on the island and we love to give them food, water and lots of love wherever we can. The owner didn't appreciate it. We put some cat food and water in front of the front door. He threw it away without saying a word to us. Then we add some more pieces. The kittens didn't even have time to eat it. The owner has already thrown it away.. Hope the cats and kittens survive.. We personally found the breakfast disappointing. Maybe the Italians really like it. Includes a lot of dried fruits that we personally don't like. As for the filling, you only get sweets, no cheese or meat. We are not used to this from the Netherlands. The yogurt was delicious. Since we didn't feel really welcome here, we won't be coming back. Too bad because the location and the apartment were very good. If another owner comes, we will definitely try again! :)
