Very pleasant stay in a quiet, authentic setting with a friendly host
Pleasant welcome with a friendly chat and lots of useful information. The breakfast was very good, the room was fine, nice location, very quiet and within walking distance of the lakes/beaches. Xanten is also accessible on foot, but still a bit too far.

Overall, we felt very comfortable and would stay here again at any time.
The small, cute guesthouse is very well located on the Xanten South Sea. The rooms are individually and very lovingly furnished. I would particularly like to emphasize the warmth of the hosts. After a long journey by bike, we quickly went by car taken into town. This is not a given.
There were no reasons for criticism. The price-performance ratio is right.

A highly recommended place to stay
Everything was right: comfortable beds, mosquito nets. large room and bathroom, excellent connections to cycle paths, very friendly and helpful landlord, good breakfast, quiet location, safe bicycle storage

If you are looking for quiet accommodation, the Pension Kerkenhof is the perfect place for you.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were traveling by bike. Since the local restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, Michael looked for various delivery service options for us. At breakfast we were allowed to prepare sandwiches for the onward journey. We would definitely spend several days of vacation there.

For this money you can expect more.
Quiet location and spacious room, good beds. Nice bathroom
Breakfast was limited, for example no yogurt as standard No tea/coffee facilities in the room No refrigerator in the room The room decoration is sober and there is no curtain for the window
