The uniformed holiday home area put us off a bit. The construction work is not bad, that's just the way it is. But that's just too much of a good thing. Too many houses/apartments, too many people, too many cars in such a small space. And above all FAR TOO LITTLE GREENING. It is to be hoped that this will be extensively replanted.

The fuse always blew when you used the sauna. And next door there was a construction site, but unfortunately that's the way it is there because the area is being expanded a lot.

In general, the nature of the construction site of the Baltic resort of Olpenitz is still disappointing - many fences, cranes, dusty roads, barriers and heavy traffic on the construction site. We were also partially disturbed by construction noise at a construction site next to our house - so when booking, ask if there is a construction site nearby. But there are already many areas in which everything is in order. In terms of infrastructure, the shops and restaurants in the area are very understandable - hopefully this will change soon. Landscaping (shrubs / hedges) in the immediate vicinity of our accommodation or in this area of ​​the Baltic resort will improve the overall picture.
