A pleasant cottage for a family
The comfort is quite simple (dry toilet, small sink), I liked the large size of the cottage, ideal for a family with children, the place is well renovated. There is a gas cooker, fridge and cooking utensils, two bedrooms and two bench seats. The bedding is comfortable. It is heated in the old way thanks to the wood insert. The wooden floor is warm. The grandfather, who lives across the street, is available and ready to help (he lit the fireplace before we arrived). There are a few books and comics available. Small detail that I appreciated, there is a nylon guitar and a small keyboard for the musicians!
There are no shutters on the windows (but I was aware before coming). Heating with wood can be restrictive (for people not accustomed to spending the winter in the countryside) because you have to get up at night to put a log back on.

atypical but rudimentary accommodation
the location, the calm and the exterior which can be very nice in summer dry toilets
no 3rd bedroom no shutter or blackout curtain no consumables: toilet paper, dishwashing liquid….

Good for sleeping and being outside all day.
The location we are 30 minutes from a lot of activity and visits. The arrival and departure times are very free. We are in the countryside.
The equipment is very rudimentary the cleanliness is very limited the dry toilets are to be reviewed. The proximity of the goat farm causes a very large number of flies.
