We expected a small and quiet place, because we live in the center of a big city on a daily basis. It was a hit here. About 450 inhabitants of the traditional seaside village of Ljubac are just the right place to relax. I was the first time in Croatia, my Lady 4th, but quite a long time ago. We perceived the inhabitants as very nice and helpful, and as it sometimes happened, even language problems were not an insurmountable barrier. Older people who spoke only their mother tongue were also up to the task. The most interesting "extras" that we did not expect was our own access to the sea shore through an underground passage under the local road (unusual for me, and making the water several dozen meters from the door of the premises). Ljubacka Bay is quite wide and shallow, which is an advantage for families with children. In addition, being in the grape ripening season, we received full consent from the hosts for any use of the fruit constituting the roof and walls of the gazebo we had in front of the house. Fruit at your fingertips - literally ... In addition, numerous olive groves in the area and a walk in the beautiful scenery to the ruins of the early medieval Templar castle (Castrum Ljuba).

And loved that you have your own access to the sea through the garden. The village is small and not crowded. The owner is very very nice and hospitable.

Direct access to the sea, good weather, calm and relaxing atmosphere away from the typical tourist fortresses.
