Villa Caelum

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Excellent owner care. Peace and quiet, mountains, greenery, and at the same time close to Makarska and the coast thanks to the nearby tunnel. Additional attractions are a large clean pool and an air-conditioned room with a pool table. A very large grill that we have used many times. I am sure that I will come back here again. I highly recommend!

There was Mr. Ivica who came every day in case we were missing something, he even accompanied us to teach us, restaurant, excursions, ... every day he came to check if the pool was ok ... In the house has a kitchen-dining room in the pool house, this allows those who want to relax to do it quietly while others have fun ... It was a perfect holiday, we were sorry to leave, they even told us that we could stay for two more day that if not for the plane we would have stayed... Eight of us who have stayed at this house recommend this accommodation...

The stone house is located in a small quiet village of Chikeshi. Each of the four bedrooms has private bathrooms, ideal for a large group. The premises were very clean and everything you need was available. The main house has a kitchen, but the pool house uses a more rustic kitchen that is better equipped, as well as a more comfortable place to relax as it has air conditioning. The living room in the main house is on the ground floor and stays cool even on very hot days. The garden is full of lavender and rosemary so it always smells really good until the upstairs bedrooms. During the high season, many of the beaches in the area are relatively crowded, so we were happy to return to an idyllic location. The cool Cetina River flows just 15 km away, ideal for swimming and sports. Very nice neighbor Ivica / John, who was also partially in charge of the house, was always helpful and answered all questions. Adventure trail, you are partly walking through thorn bushes, be sure to wear sturdy shoes and long trousers. John has several pets and farm animals, so the kids enjoyed riding the donkey. Zdravko - very polite and caring owner. When we arrived late, he prepared a dinner of Dalmatian delicacies for us. He gave us a lot of vegetables and fruits, which the neighbors grew themselves. A week later, he and his aunt cooked dinner for us - Dalmatian peck with fresh herbs from the garden and neighbor's veal. He told us a lot about the development of the village and the home.
