Top location by the sea with a beautiful view. Well equipped kitchen.
The bathroom stinks unbearably, the cause seems to be the pipes, since the room air spray doesn't help either. Shower curtain scruffy. Unfortunately no dishwasher in the kitchen. Complaints reported to the landlord, except for confirmation of a message, unfortunately no reaction. Smoke detector on the 7th floor was unfortunately not mounted. Poor quality sofa bed.

- In reality, the room is at best only half the size specified in the property description at 55 square meters (neither the booking company nor the landlord will respond to inquiries) - Strong smell of mold in the bathroom (attempts are made to cover it up with fragrance dispensers) - Apartment freezing cold (February) and heating only works sporadically - Partly very dirty and worn (underpants from previous tenants, dirty curtains, windows so dirty that the sea is not visible) - Room furnishings incomplete or defective (only 2 glasses, cutlery missing, smoke alarm devices missing, lighting partially defective) - Service never reachable, no response even by email (e.g. room size) - Parking is almost impossible (maximum 4h parking allowed at the accommodation for €10, free parking about 1.5 km away) - Rubbish must be disposed of in the crooked underground car park - Check-in and check-out only possible with cumbersome online forms, everything costs extra (damage report with over 50 photos to investors of the apartment required, 10 min early check-in 39€, towels 39€, ...)
We enjoyed it incredibly. It was a very well maintained accommodation and top location. Beautiful sea view!!
It might be better to better describe the access to the mailbox. We didn't know that the lid of the letterbox could be raised. The shower curtain is also due for renewal.
The view is by far the best thing about the apartment. Directly on sea, beach and the port of Zeebrugge. There are various restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and equipped for a few days.
Parking was an absolute nightmare in the area and really messy. You should definitely find out about the zones beforehand and download the parking app, as the machines often didn't work. The house was very noisy and not nice from the outside. What bothered us the most was the smell in the apartment. Musty and musty. Especially in the bathroom, but it can also be smelled throughout the entire apartment and has already penetrated the textiles and upholstered furniture (blankets, decorative cushions, etc.). What we noticed negatively is the process through the rental company. You are bombarded with e-mails, have to register in a strange, opaque online portal. Supposed to be helpful, we found it downright complicated and annoying. The whole check-in process in particular. I book extra through Booking so I don't have that kind of hassle.
the apartment is very well planned and very well thought out
key access is complex and poorly explained in the emails received. many emails for this booking. I spent an hour looking for where the keys were at the start. I needed someone online to finally find them
