nothing
bad bed, bad shower, cold corridors, certainly not worth 800 euros for 3 nights
Perfect dressing
Bed too narrow, shower upstairs too small, hygiene, floor finish, swollen bathroom cabinet, mouse / rat trap in the room, only one door pass per 2 men, kitchen floor worn out, floor felt dirty to bare feet in bedroom
nothing/nothing.
noisy, dirty, simple.
Relations with clients and reception of guests.
The cleanliness of the shared bathroom is not very good. There was still someone's jacket in my closet, and because of the smell in the closet, I couldn't use it. By the way, I was in room B. Other rooms may be different.
I think this place has excellent value for money: it has all the necessary services even for a long stay, such as Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen, a refrigerator in the rooms and ... even Netflix on TV! I found the common areas very clean and the bathrooms in good condition (the one downstairs has just been refurbished). The location is GREAT as it's literally a stone's throw from Finsbury Park tube station, where the Victoria, Piccadilly and even the National Rail lines run. Plus and close to Finsbury Park bus station. Another very useful aspect is a large supermarket opposite the subway exit. In the evening, you can also eat at Honest Burger and E-Mono (delicious kebab) which are within walking distance.
Nothing
Equipment available (kettle, fridge in room, toaster, microwave) Proximity to subway (2 minutes walk) and large M&S supermarket. Large comfortable bed. Friendly welcome.
Cleanliness of common areas (dirty dishes, mess in the kitchen, bathroom not cleaned). Dirty curtains in the bedroom. Everything in the room is old (the closet is barely standing when opened) Noise. The windows overlook a very noisy street + no sound insulation + noise in the entrances (doors slam, people talk loudly at night). Provide earplugs. There is no table in the room. Fairly good value for money.
Everything you need is there and everyone is very helpful, friendly and hardworking.
The location was good with a number of metro lines, easily accessible
carpet in the room
Low price (by London standards), location at the station, pleasant staff and handwritten rules of conduct, smart TV (which even had a reception one evening)
Rancid carpeting, single pane windows, steep stairs, tiny sink, "ceiling decoration" (dirty sock over fire alarm, see photo)
next to the stadium and fast food restaurants
noise pollution
Proximity to train/metro station. Quiet and good location. Close to shops and pubs.
The owner could refurbish and refresh the rooms.
The area is friendly and the metro is 10 minutes from St. Pancras.
The cleanliness of the room: except for the sheets, the room was in a terrible state... Outdated suite, damaged furniture, torn carpet, noisy room (single glazing to the street), curtains that do not block the light (full daylight in the room at 7 morning). A 3 cm gap under the bedroom door lets in light and noise from the hallway. Reviews from previous travelers are misleading, this place is not worth more than 4/10...
location
old objects, they should update them
location
kitchen needs renovation
There was everything to meet basic needs. Small rooms but comfortable beds. The bathroom was ok, again everything you need. Unfortunately a noisy neighbor but the owner can't do anything about it (there was already a complaint from the owner himself).
Neighbor :) Other than that, no problem, unfortunately someone was smoking in our room, so the air was not that pleasant.
Very friendly welcome and great room.
In the autumn-winter season it is very cold, but quite pleasant.
Very basic accommodation in typical London style. The room I was assigned smelled of cigarettes despite my request for a non-smoking room. The staff immediately changed the room. Very close to metro, very convenient for a short stay.
Poor soundproofing of the rooms. Rest is difficult, as the rooms are equipped with TVs and the sound passes through the walls and ceiling. For those who are light sleepers, anxiety must be considered.
Elias' reception was perfect. Access to amenities without complaint.
No complaints
Everything from the food to the mattress was good. Great location to get around the metro bus accessible streets full of shops and restaurants. Very nice people to talk to if you don't know English very well, they will help you, amazing.
I would put a light on, I have a lamp and the little sign with the word Confort Room on it is more visible on the outside of the front door. It is not very dark in the evening. On the first day of my arrival it was a bit difficult to find and at midnight it was very dark outside.
Staff, Room and amenities.
