When you travel, you are always worried about finding information about hotels in the places you want to visit. We did the same in the case of Qakhta, choosing this option in the end (it was stated in the popular guidebook that this was an unholy hotel). Housing is well located, and the company offers rooms in two neighboring buildings: old and new. The owner is responsive to questions and the people are, as is almost always the case in Turkey, friendly.
When we arrived in the late afternoon, we were well received. But the person in charge was not there and the administrators, with whom you can only speak Turkish, directed us to a new building. In the first room we were shown that the air conditioning was not working. In the second, glass was broken and there was a deafening noise of traffic. In the third, the sheets were not changed; in one corner were several empty beer cans. We were shown another one, which we also did not like, but it was already late and we imagined that the rest would be in the same (and deplorable state). Spaces not furnished according to the needs of the client, but full of rubbish; bathroom without ventilation and with unpleasant odors... Except for the first day there was no light in the corridors, which, when leaving the hotel, you had to go through with your own flashlight (the area of our apartment was used as a warehouse for large carpets, which, I think, once were widespread). On our floor, with the exception of the last night when three customers came and turned on the heater, there was no hot water on the previous two. Breakfast, first of all, was very poor and monotonous. And… Of course, from the first day when the owner returned, he told us that we would have to pay a much higher amount than the room we had booked in the old building. Whoever is in charge is too insistent on having dinner at a certain place. And, of course, accompanied by his company to Mount Nemrut, indicating the poor condition of the road (which is not true). All in all, a real nightmare. I have the following question: why is this accommodation included in the Booking portal if it does not meet the minimum living conditions and comfort? Someone should take a look at it. In the meantime, advice: there are several hotels nearby. Pick anyone. I am sure they will succeed. Worse than Nemrut Commagene is impossible.
Accommodation very close to Kahta bus station. The owner of the accommodation helped us organize the climb to Mount Emrut. We tried to go on our own but it was impossible. Finally we went to see the sunset with the tour he organized for us. The room is clean, with air conditioning. Good place to spend a night.
The staff except for the very rude and obnoxious receptionist.
Manager clearly close to his money. Wanted to charge us 100 euros for 2 nights when booking was 43 euros. More than 30 minutes to checkout because of this. Trash bathroom is not emptied on arrival, sheets are too small for the bed.
Central starting position for Nemrut! Great garden and large lobby and last but not least very friendly and helpful staff! And the manager who made every trip possible! I highly recommend Kommagene!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Location for exploring the city, very good! Kahta is very convenient for exploring local attractions. The hotel organizes excursions to nearby and distant surroundings. Classic Turkish breakfast, always good. Kyakhta is located about 13 km from the airport, the city can be reached by taxi or minibus.
The hotel does not have Wi-Fi, if you need Wi-Fi, go to another hotel that is owned by the same owner and can use Wi-Fi in the lobby. From home to home 20 m. This is not criticism, just information!
Welcoming and very friendly staff. Good breakfast on the 6th floor. Bed and heating. Tour of Nemrut at sunset or sunrise.
New clean hotel. Good location. Good breakfast.
It was a shame that the hotel sold me a tour to Nemrut at the highest price in town.
The owner and staff are very nice, polite and helpful. Amenities in the air-conditioned room with TV were also good. The tea we were offered was always very good. 😄 The Bedir Bay guide took his time to show us almost all the sights in the area in 1.5 days. Thanks again to Bedir Bey 😊
The first thing to note is that now there is an old and a new hotel building, and we stayed in the old building. The room itself was a little dated, but okay, the very small bathroom wasn't too clean and the shower couldn't be closed completely so the whole bathroom got wet. The breakfast was ok. In general, more attention could be paid to cleanliness.
We were the first guests at the new hotel. So new that we haven't finished yet. The staff are really dedicated to the customer and the room was clean. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Convenient parking thanks to the parking lot. The property is located on the road to Nemrut. Be sure to take the sunrise tour.
The hotel is located on the main transport axis.
Many thanks to the staff for a warm welcome, for helping to organize our holiday (Adiyaman Nemrut Dag), dinner and transfer to the bus station! And, of course, watermelon!
Breakfast Attention Gia I like it so much Thank you for everything
The hotel's free shuttle service is very convenient. The location is also very good, there is a supermarket opposite, and the bus station is 700 meters away. The main purpose of coming here is to see Rentou Mountain. The hotel provides sunrise, sunset groups and trips to other cities. The manager is very nice, responds to emails quickly, and helps solve problems during the itinerary. The hotel has good location, close to bus station and opposite a supermarket. The manager is very nice, reply mail quickly, offer free airport pick up, arrange Nemrut and other tours and give guest suggestions.
Very good location in Kakhta, not far from the bus station and, moreover, along the avenue where buses pass and can stop. There are many shops nearby. At the same time, the building does not suffer from the noise of the avenue, because it is set aside and has a beautiful garden. An original room entirely decorated in wood, with air conditioning, which is rare and noticeable in this part of Turkey. First of all, the convenience in organizing excursions to Nemrut Dagi and the friendliness of the staff.
Helpfulness of staff Great
Nothing like that Everything is perfect
I was advised to change the room I booked.
dedicated and attentive staff, flexible approach, free tea, traditional breakfast (lavash, cheese, olives, vegetables, egg)
The staff were the nicest I have met and are always ready to help. There's also free tea available 24/7!
Great tours! Good service. Good breakfast and dinner. Great views. Excellent guide. They speak 4 languages. You can meet people from all over the world and chat.
The location of the hotel by the main street in Kahta and convenient parking inside the complex. We spent 2 nights here and it was cool. The owner arranged for us a trip to Nemrut Dagi and several other sights. We would have driven around it with our own car, but it was more convenient this way. The breakfast was at a good level and the owner was helpful with good English. There are many restaurants and canteens in the vicinity.
The bathroom could be in better condition. Bathroom could be in better condition.
