The location is great. There is always tea and water. The better you knew each other, the friendlier the staff was. The breakfast was simple but ok.
Difficult to find, there was no sign. One bathroom was very dirty, the second was clean but took some getting used to. I had a dorm bed. There is no such thing as a salon.
The location of the hostel is worth it. The staff is quite nice and they will help you whenever you need. Although everything is rather disastrous, it is a curious experience.
The smell in the hostel is unacceptable, cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. There was a hole in one of the beds, the bunk was wet...etc.
This hostel has NOTHING!
It's hard to call it a hostel, it's a dirty, tattered apartment with sleeping quarters. I went there with my seven year old son. We bought a separate room! And the owner suddenly, after a couple of days, decided to move us to a multi-bed room, and looking at the night and located at a completely different address. This hostel is super dirty, linen is not changed, people sleep on linen that someone else has already slept on, my son ended up with some kind of rash. Plumbing not working! I mean the drain and shower head. And there is never hot water. So lie down washed in a clean bed will not work. It turns out that there are a lot of good alternatives around for the same money, so do yourself a favor and bypass this bum. I also want to add, the complete absence of Wi-fi and the promised breakfasts
Good
Good
tea Wi-Fi the presence of a mirror very center
no window, I'm claustrophobic; cold; I went to other rooms on my floor - there was not one exactly like in the photo; well, the building number has changed, as it was already written here in the comments, you need to go down a little and there will be a small Tunel sign (yes, if I remember correctly it was with the letter L). the room was not cleaned the first day
location, friendly owner
the rooms are very cramped, damp and musty there was mold on the wall next to my bed
receiving treatment It's enough to live on the price, but you can spend a few days
Damp room Dirty bathroom
Location and price.
It is very small
In general, the low price makes up for all the shortcomings) 2 showers + great location and a small breakfast. Sockets by the beds, air conditioning, a decent closet in the room. The owner treats girls in a cafe
No kitchen, one small refrigerator in the hallway The photos on the site do not match the description (!), the owner explained this by the reconstruction of the building, the hostel was forced to move. As far as I know, the money will be returned without problems if you are not happy with it Breakfast, of course, you will not get enough - 1 sandwich. Bed linen with stains, no hooks in the showers, no hygiene products ❗️Girls, be careful with the owner and in principle with Turkish men
Location
The published phone number does not exist, it is impossible to contact. The location also doesn't match. Run by a family where they don't follow the arrangements, like picking us up at a certain time to take us to the terrace (in another building) for breakfast. He gives a WhatsApp number which he doesn't answer and answers a few hours later saying he didn't read it because he was sleeping. Two days in a row they ask for towels and they give us a long time and then they say that they won’t. By chance we went to the hostel in the middle of the morning and found that they were removing the furniture and our (private) room was open, the sim bed and our things were moved without notice! The pretext was that they were going to put in new beds. I demanded money for the remaining nights and we immediately left the hostel. In conclusion, the location is very good, but the service is lousy and it gives the feeling that this is an illegal business that is not registered anywhere and that at any moment they disappear and no one is responsible to you for your money.
The location is ideal for visiting old Istanbul. The staff is pleasant. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day (train at 20:30) and take a shower in the evening before leaving.
The room is too small for 4 people. There are no windows to the street, so there is no ventilation and natural light. In addition, the establishment is very noisy, and the proximity of shared toilets and showers next to the room means that noise can be heard at night and early in the morning. There is no elevator so you have to go up 3 floors. Breakfast takes place in another building, about 200 meters away, on the 5th floor without an elevator.
It was a living hell! The first such unrealistically stressful trip in my life, when I arrived at the address of the hostel indicated on Booking, but there was no hostel at that address. At 23:00 pm! A man standing next to me said, “You see, there is no hostel at this address, I will call the owner now and he will pick you up.” The owner came running in 5 minutes, took my suitcases, said that there are NO places in the 4-bed female room where I made the reservation, but there is in the 10-bed!! Same price!! And if I don't want to, then I can stay here on the street and look for another hotel. At 12 at night it was unrealistic, I was settled in an uncomfortable 10-bed room 15 minutes walk from the specified address! Good thing it's only 2 nights!!!!
Everything!!
