Very good host, we are amazed by his kindness and responsiveness. Nice room, right in the center. Thank you very much!
Location
Sterilization and hygiene
The accommodation is very, very bad and does not deserve to be on Booking.com's list
Everything was bad
it was a lot of uphill until Taksimstorg.
Comfortable and excellent
It was excellent
It is less than 10 minutes from Tazeem Square.
It was very dirty, the kitchen was greasy and we couldn't use anything. Even the bathroom was terrible and in disrepair (there was a tuft of hair in the shower) and water was leaking from the toilet. Bed linen and towels were poorly laundered. We asked for an extra bed in advance, I paid for it but they didn't give it to me. There was not enough cleaning supplies like hand gel or shampoo for 4 people. the room smelled terrible.
If you are looking for an inexpensive option in one of the tourist areas, this is the place for you. The apartment is large in size (relative to other Istanbul options) and not far from Taksim Square.
But keep in mind that everything is broken - the refrigerator, beds, ventilation, everything :) Therefore, only if you are on a good wavelength and in economy mode :)
Good location of the apartments, in a quiet courtyard, but the call to prayer is heard everywhere). Responsive owner. With him, everything can be solved. If you want to cook, then the dishes are too small. It is necessary to warn in advance.
Nice cozy apartment. For two, it is quite enough and comfortable. The only significant disadvantage: the hot water column is very noisy at night. During the day it is not very noticeable, but at night it interferes. If turned off at night, very cold, we were there on New Years. Dishes are also enough for two, there are knives, forks, spoons (there were no tablespoons, there were no tea ones), plates (small ones, there were no soup ones), glasses, one saucepan and one frying pan. Apartments near metro and Taksim square. The view from the windows is the street and the windows of other houses, but there are blinds, so it's okay, no one will see you. There are several shops (groceries and household goods). The owner is a polite and friendly person. Thank you, everything was good!
Everything is super, two-storey apparatus, for 78 euros for 3 nights, a great option, a refrigerator, a TV set, three beds and a sofa, for this price it is paradise. The neighbors are also very nice and nice people.
Very close to the center, Taksim square, metro. Clean studio room.
The floor is slightly sloped towards the middle, but overall ok
Excellent apartment with a balcony, located in the very center, five minutes walk to Taksim metro station. If you get from the new airport yourself by bus, then the stop is also not far from the apartment, about 7-10 minutes on foot. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed for a week at the end of October 2019. and for a couple of days it was pretty cool outside, we turned to the owner and he turned on the heating for us. There were no problems with the check-in, we arrived earlier and were already waiting for us and it was nice. Thanks to the owner of the apartment, a very nice and friendly person. We liked it, 100% value for money. Recommend!!!
The hotel is located in the city center. The presence of a balcony
The hotel is set in a 5 storey building, no lift. We were accommodated with 2 children on the top floor, which was difficult to climb with a stroller and scooter daily up the spiral staircase. Poor lighting in the room, semi-darkness. Poor WI-FI To get to the hotel you need to overcome a steep hill, which is difficult with a stroller.
Air conditioning is great, bed is comfortable
The Internet does not work, wi-fi does not connect at all No blanket, two of us covered ourselves with a thin blanket without a duvet cover The switch was in the room without protection, there was no cover, I was afraid that it would be shocked
Breakfast was not taken. The location is close to metro Taksim, walk 10min. The owner is a very positive and cheerful person. Helps in everything.
The street is very steep, it is easy to go down but difficult to go up. Very noisy at night, the air is not very fresh. The room was never cleaned in 3 days. There is nothing in the bathroom except a towel.
Nice people.. Neighbors.. Owner.. Cooperating.
Parking problem. Anyway, this is valid throughout Istanbul... The car was parked on a street with a slope of about 35-40 degrees😁.
Nothing. The apartment has a musty smell. The sofa bed made of pillows is kept in a good position with huge pebbles, so the night is unpleasant. There is no hot water for the shower. To go to the toilet, you need to go to the second bedroom. Very dilapidated bathroom. The sheets are not clean. There are no tinted windows on the windows. Didn't book a shuttle to the airport though. Plus no one in the hotel office was alerted by the grocery manager across the street. Incredibly the lowest.
Everything . The apartment needs to be completely remodeled. Doesn't deserve to be rented out. As for the manager, this character is irreverent. Moreover, although it was included in the package, we did not have breakfast. Thanks to our daughter, who works in Istanbul, and after a rather lively conversation with the manager, he changed our apartment (without further ado it was normal) on a very noisy street.
The double bed and single single bed were comfortable and lovely. Sheets and towels were clean. The apartment is two-storey, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was always the same but acceptable. Value for money was good as staying in Istanbul is expensive. And there are not so many positive aspects in it.
At first it seems like a moderately acceptable housing for young people who are more concerned with money than comfort, but when analyzed well, it is really bad. The location is terrible as it is located in the most depressed area of the European side of Istanbul. Cleaning is zero, and in the apartment there are cockroaches and bedbugs, this is understandable if you look at the area where it is located, where there are no dumpsters, the bags are left in the middle of the street. There is a hole in the kitchen wall with a diameter of about 20 cm, through which we felt the penetration of cockroaches and insects. The bathroom screen was broken and there was a puddle in the bathroom when we were showering but worst of all the bathroom had a smell coming from the toilet pipes, it smelled really bad like fecal water. The booking announcement states that there is a double bed, twin beds and a sofa bed, but this is not the case. There is a double bed and a single bed which are good, but the sofa bed is terrible and the "theoretical second single bed" is two camping rugs on the floor. Anyway, worst of all was the lack of attention the owner showed us when we told him that we got up in the middle of the night last night because three Turks were trying to break the lock and that they talked us out of opening the door. We were very scared as the police did not speak English and we felt unprotected from the attention of the owner even the next morning.
Good host. Not far from the metro. Near the main shopping street of Istanbul.
There were 5 of us, we lived on the top floor - everything is fine in the photo, but in life the apartment is badly damaged: the sofas on the first floor are broken - it was difficult to lay them out; the towels are very old; plumbing is leaking in the bathroom. The area is full of hucksters and prostitutes in the evening.
The friendliness of Metin, the manager. Proximity to transport.
Smell, musty. Cockroaches in the apartment. Descent to climb from the apartment to Taksim square. Cleaning is not daily.
I don't think anyone can ever like anything about this property.
First of all, when I made the reservation, I was inspired by the pictures that, arriving at the property, seem from another galaxy. Secondly, when I made the reservation, it said that payment is made at the property. I was called by the owner to warn me to top up the account to be able to withdraw the money. Thirdly, and not least, when we arrived at the property, we were greeted by a salesman from an adjacent store. When we asked about parking, we were told that we can park anywhere, that it's not a problem (on the website it says that they provide parking) in the morning when I left, a gentleman was waiting for me who scolded me for occupying his parking space. When I entered the rooms I thought it was a bad joke. An extremely strong musty, rancid and musty smell. A studio was on the first floor and an apartment was on the ground floor. Actually I think there was a staircase there. Part of the apartment was on the mezzanine level and part of it was on a kind of mezzanine. Because at that time we had nowhere else to go, we wrapped the pillows and covered the beds with our clothes. Everything was sticking to the hands because of the mess. Overnight, a big fight broke out in the door of the apartment that opened directly onto the street, which ended with the intervention of the police. When I left I had no one to hand over the keys to. I called the phone, sent a message on whats'app, I waited for about an hour. I left the keys in a niche, took and sent the picture and left. I think that booking should check more carefully what kind of offers they display. The bottom line is that I do not recommend this location to anyone.
close to the park and metro, many shops and eateries
The bed is broken, the sofa is dirty and old, there are almost no dishes, and what is there is in a disgusting state. All furniture is falling apart, bathroom is disgusting
