Good hotel at a reasonable price. Location is good too
The hotel is outdated and needs renovation and furniture replacement.
We have just returned home on 9/8 2019 after 7 days at Okan Tower with 2 adults and 3 children. We have had a really nice stay. The hotel is "dead" in the sense that it is not maintained, especially the pool. There is no pool bar, restaurant or other facilities. For us it was delightfully liberating since we ourselves wanted to provide drinks and food that could be freely enjoyed in the pool area. The pool is perfect and is cleaned every evening when the pool closes at 6.30pm. There are 2 mega fun slides which the children really enjoyed. The slides were open from 10-12 and from 14-17. There was cleaning and clean towels every day and the cleaning was perfectly acceptable, but the furniture and fixtures worn. We had 2 apartments, one with a nice large balcony where all 5 of us could sit and enjoy the view of the center and the "Castle" on the mountain. One apartment had brand new air conditioning which worked flawlessly, but the other apartment had 2 very worn ones, one of which did not work. However, you do not pay for air conditioning. The staff are nice and friendly but they don't speak English well - so you have to wait for the manager meetings between 10-11 if you need to "talk" to one. The other staff try to understand you but end up saying you have to speak to the manager. The location is absolutely perfect. 5 minutes on foot down to the beach on the east side. 10 minutes on foot to Atatürk, there is a large square in the center. So all in all a nice experience and especially good value for money. We might find ourselves booking here again.
It was a huge disappointment. What is offered on the Internet is not correct. The location of the hotel is the only thing.
No breakfast, no coffee products in the room. (No restaurant) or animation, no bar, poor communication with staff. In a bad condition. Badly removed. Basically it's very outdated. Toilets are falling apart. The refrigerator was broken. Leak in the bathtub, mold in the shower. Inventory is incorrect. And then it is mentioned that if something is broken or missing, it will be charged. Fat finger yes! In addition, we reported to the reception, they did not complain about us. Time in the pool is meaningless. You will be taken out at half past seven. And then you can enter only from 14.00. 10 am to 12 pm or 2 am to 6.30 am.
Location, close to many beaches, shops, cafes, walking distance to attractions, good staff, nice pool, cleaning every day. Quiet street, almost no cars, lots of greenery around.
During our stay, there was practically no internet and wifi was not loading, there were problems with the provider. Work has stopped for the day.
Perfect location, good daily cleaning and a quiet hotel that is not overcrowded. Clearly outnumbered by Danes at this hotel and no Russians :-).
No pension and we only got a cot late on day 2 after being promised it on arrival. They are very bad at English at the reception. A hotel where the bar by the pool was closed but there is a shop opposite the hotel with goods at good prices.
