The closet is a bit small (for 2 people in any case), now it's also crammed with useless things (a printer that doesn't work, ironing board, other cleaning utensils), the furniture is worn out and the air conditioning couldn't be programmed manually (remote control only worked with on/off, otherwise nothing was possible). A spot of dirt on the floor that was present when we moved in was also present to the same extent when we moved out.
Location to be able to walk to the beach, despite being at the back of the Bangla road, in the 'massage' area. Good room size. Bed ok.
Staff not smiling at all, didn't seem to be in Thailand. The internet didn't allow credit card payment for the first two days and it seemed to be the customer's fault. The manager wrote 48 hours before arrival to communicate, under New Year's Eve, that they had no room, asking to cancel, which I did not do by showing up the day before to ask for explanations: the room then reappeared after half an hour of protests. They probably wanted to give it to others willing to pay even more on New Year's Eve. Cost of the room disproportionate even compared to many other hotels in the immediate vicinity. Find cobwebs in the upper corners of the chamber. Often not clean towels.
Very good geographic location, very friendly staff and tuktuks in front of the hotel, a hairdresser next to it and two laundromats 20 meters away.
