great location great sea view very quiet and natural friendly staff
The location, the calm, the small swimming pool, the very large room, the outing to Koh Phi Phi, the availability of the staff and the friendliness of the inhabitants
The multiple and steep stairs in the hotel (67 steps from the beach to our room which was not the highest) and above all the impossibility of swimming with the ebb tide due to the rocks
the staff was super nice and helpful.
the journey is not for the faint of heart the path is super bumpy and difficult to drive on with a scooter, you should also know that you have to walk a lot of steps no matter which room you have, so it's probably more for fit people. Also important for one or the other to know - the showers are not particularly large, from 1.80m it becomes difficult to shower without bending down 👀
Nice bungalow, very helpful and friendly staff
the tide made it impossible to swim after lunch. The breakfast can be improved.
The view from our beautiful, authentic house was beautiful. We also really enjoyed the option of dining on the beach.
We expected a slightly more luxurious breakfast
The pretty bungalows whose terrace overlooks the sea, the breakfast facing the sea and the fish bbq dinner on the beach, the large bed with mosquito net. The island is very pretty. We were able to rent a scooter but luckily we asked because it is not displayed anywhere. One of the managers on site is very helpful.
The access by a damaged road (which will be redone in June), the lack of information to arrive from krabi to the island of ko jum and on the possible activities on site. The rocks at low tide.
The accommodation and fantastic location
At the reception there were language difficulties. Undergrading in English
Beautiful location facing west, sunset over the PhiPhi Islands. No package tourism, reminiscent of Koh Lanta 30 years ago.
Some of the facility and accommodation are in a dilapidated state, which also gives rise to security concerns. The staff tries hard, but can only communicate inadequately with guests due to language barriers. Manager visibly overwhelmed with simultaneous renovation, repair and guest care. Responds to inquiries and requests contrary to the Thai mentality unfriendly and uncontrolled. Upper bungalows on steep slopes can only be reached by climbing a path with stumbling blocks. In view of the climatic conditions for guests > 40 years not recommended. Warning: Pictures do not reflect the current condition. We wouldn't book this resort again even if the prices were much cheaper. Neighboring facilities seem to offer better services.
the great location of the hotel. private beach, great dinner on the beach
nothing
The hotel is made up of independent bungalows, located on a small hillside flush with the beach.
The beach has a lot of rock, instead of sand once you get in the water. there are feral dogs on the beach, very territorial and threatening (and I personally like dogs but one night they really scared me).
The accommodation is a bit older, but is currently being renovated. The location is very remote, the beach is clean and very beautiful! The staff is very friendly. Great quiet beach with jungle feeling.
The road to the property is very adventurous. If you're not good at scootering, then it's impossible to get through. Taxis don't go to the hotel either, only to the end of the tarred road. Then about a 10-minute walk over an uneven, bumpy road (only suitable for young people). If you like it adventurous, you've come to the right place! :) This hotel is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
the location, the private beach, the caring staff…
breakfasts too light
residence
maintenance and the litter at the beach.
The facility and the view of the sea was beautiful.
Koh Jum is a very quiet island. since the hotel is also very far out of the way, you don't really have much in the vicinity. the way to the hotel is also very bumpy. unfortunately the prices in the hotel were quite high. the beach is very nice. at low tide it is very difficult to get into the water due to the stones.
location
under construction without telling us. dilapidated door broken no storage. very old not renovated. manager is incompetent no memory and offers nothing, worst reception and welcome of our trip
The location on the beach is good.
The resort is very remote and can only be reached by rented moped or taxi on the muddy access road. Very far to walk to the main street. The whole complex was originally very attractive, but is now completely run down. Pool, breakfast room (terrace no longer in use) and sanitary facilities outside the bungalows in absolutely devastating condition (see photos). Construction work on the beach (construction of a beach bar), rubbish everywhere that nobody clears away, Staff hardly speaks English. Completely overpriced for the lack of comfort, the poor service and the below-average breakfast, good reviews on booking for us in no way understandable. The bungalows are inside (we had family bungalows) in relatively good condition.
Superb house with a view over the sea. Very spacious. Lovely bed. Possibly the best bed I've ever come across in Thailand! Sleep well :-)
Nothing!!!!
Everything but the location. Hotel is completely run down. We immediately moved to another hotel.
lovely location if you want to have peace and quiet. Magical view of the sea from the accommodation.
unfortunately a little poorly maintained resort. during our stay they were also building a brand new bar, which took away the calm and lovely atmosphere. construction work, welding and banging meant that we didn't want to hang out at either the pool or the beach. strange to do this in high season in December. the road to the accommodation was also very bad which made the last 509 meters an unpleasant experience.
It was very comfortable! You had your own little kingdom right on the beach and at the infinity pool. Very good resort and very pretty. The staff is really friendly. Overall we were very satisfied and felt comfortable.
Unfortunately not the best location. You have to rent a scooter or taxi to go to the other beaches and the marketplace, but that's not a problem either. The bathroom was unfortunately always wet and was not repaired. But everything isn't that bad. The bathroom was clean
The friendliness of the staff, especially the resort manager who tried to do everything possible so that we could have a pleasant stay despite the situation. The view from the room.
Landslide. Stuck in the hotel, not being able to swim, neither in the sea (brown), nor in the swimming pool (cloudy, dangerous for health). Impossible to discover the island. Completely impassable road and quite dangerous access, namely that it is the only access to access the hotel or the rest of the island. Not having been informed of this situation before our arrival. We were informed on the spot that it will remain like this for a while. Boats not offered due to rough seas. No more beach bars.
Amazing staff, especially the owner who did everything to make us feel comfortable, even though he had landslides, trees that fell over his beach bar, etc.
Very helpful in all matters. The view of the sea was really breathtaking!
Unfortunately, it was not possible to get to the resort by scooter because the coastal road was partly gone due to a landslide. Of course the resort can't help it!
We really enjoyed our stay at Koh Jum Resort. The location of the resort is beautiful, the beach is very clean and perfect for relaxing days at the beach and the staff is incredibly warm, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant offers a great selection of delicious Thai dishes. We felt completely comfortable!
The basic idea of this system was probably good. Unfortunately, you don't notice anything anymore. The facility is very neglected, in places very dilapidated (e.g. the roofs of the bungalows, the handrails,...) Without a boat or taxi (if the road is passable) there is no good way to leave the complex. Walk to Mainroad very far. Unfortunately, that was also the most expensive and worst scooter that was made available to us for rent. 250 THB and the tank was just enough to get to the next gas station. Dinner was O.K. Breakfast was underground, rather unhygienic. The sausage swam in warm water, etc. The only positive thing was the room. It has been partially renovated and was clean. We left the complex after one night instead of the three booked. Also the communication with the staff was very difficult. Hardly anyone could speak English, a little smile and nod was mostly all you got instead of an answer. All of this is a shame, because if you put in a little effort and care, you could create a relaxing place out of it, there is actually a lot of potential in the complex. Unfortunately, the pictures do not even begin to correspond to the current condition.
sea view
for a family there is nothing to do, no village, far from the other islands (it is good to seek calm and do nothing)
Wonderfully situated on a jungle slope, with a quasi-private stretch of beach. Even at full occupancy, it is very quiet everywhere and you see few other guests in the complex, giving you a certain feeling of a lonely island dream. The entire facility has a "coherent concept" in which care was taken throughout the design to integrate nature as best as possible. Beware, some of the comments have been negative, you shouldn't expect a "clean hotel complex". The location is also quite isolated, the journey is adventurous. But we really liked it. Robinson Crusoe feeling with comfort.
Where should I start... I could write novels, but try to focus on the essentials. We were already here in 2019 and absolutely loved it. Rating 9+. Unfortunately, a lot has changed since then. Sure, everyone had a hard time with Covid and many still lack the money for extensive renovations. But this is about much more: Staff and service: unfortunately hardly a trace of friendliness. We had to pay for our welcome drink ourselves, the hotel manager has a hard time smiling. Hardly anyone thinks along, you have to actively ask a lot. Instead of actively getting involved in the preparation of the system, the hotel manager and various employees are sitting behind their desks in the reception area and are bored (!!). Hotel complex: There is a raging decay, which nobody seems to want to stop. Even the simplest work, which does not even cost money, is not carried out, although staff are available. Garbage isn't removed, loungers aren't provided or cleaned, the simplest repair work isn't carried out. The pool water wasn't clean anymore and at the end of our stay it was even so cloudy that you couldn't see 40 cm deep. Only the open power cable of the underwater lighting could still be seen... Partly the plant is also downright derelict. The Beach Bar, for example, in 2019 still a dream as it is written in books, is now just a rotting heap of rubbish... However, the rooms are mostly still in good condition, to be honest. You can also generally feel comfortable here if you ignore the rest and the lack of cleanliness. In short: nature is reclaiming this facility. There is simply not enough countering this at the moment. Such a pity!!! Dining: Prices are low compared to the Ocean Beach Resort next door. Unfortunately, so has the quality.
location, friendliness of the owner
many things broken
The journey by longtail boat is fantastic. Unique location on the beach in the middle of the wilderness. very friendly and helpful staff. wWonderful view from the balcony in the room.
Unfortunately, one notices that the hotel was closed for a long time due to the Covid: the whole facility needs renovation and the food is mediocre. However, we were told by the hotel manager that this would be done in the next few months up to the high season. If so, this hotel is a secret and a magical place.
proximity to private beach, swimming pool, view of the Phi Phi Islands from the room, tranquility, restaurant, sunset
nothing
the place is like a movie, if you are looking for total relaxation and disconnection this is the place. you arrive by boat, and the Resort picks you up at the port in Koh Jum and you go to the middle of the island with few inhabitants, an unforgettable experience. a romantic dinner on the beach prepared us for our honey moon
It's not that I don't like anything, on the contrary, it is noticeable that they have been closed for 2 years due to the pandemic, and they are making a thousand efforts to bring all the facilities up to date, a great job
It's actually a bit difficult for me to rate this. It is clear that on this small stretch of beach I am not as well taken care of as on a long sandy beach. Normally this is not a problem, but then I don't close the kitchen and drinks bar at 8pm (good food and music nearby - thanks go there) and keep my little stretch of beach clean and don't dump trash. It must be different. Unfortunately also the pool, not very inviting. The rooms are pretty good but getting old. Probably also neglected a little because of the hard time, so that it would not be even more tragic, but then I have to adjust my prices a little. Sorry for the harsh words, but unfortunately it doesn't quite add up for me. After a few kilometers, I felt much more comfortable in my little bungalow with a hammock for 20 euros per night.
the resort itself is beautiful and idyllic. great view.
After complaining and wanting to check out earlier, on our last day we had our room upgraded to a sea view and outside hot tub. however, the hot water didn't work and the toilet stank. the staff at the restaurant are not friendly or smiling and there were many things on the menu that you couldn't get. we therefore chose to rent a scooter and eat elsewhere on the island. the beds were the hardest beds we have ever slept on (!!!). the first night we didn't sleep at all. the hotel is far too expensive for what you get. we will not come again. the beach is also full of glass, so be careful.
Tranquility, View, Pool, Private beach, island
Bed is terrible...
Far from everything .. beautiful in some places, but not everything is well-groomed, remoteness from the noise of the city, silence and the absence of a large number of people, sea view from the window, friendly cleaners and some waiters, good wifi, an insect canopy over the bed. The bed is hard, but it will do. The nicest place surrounded by flowers is the swimming pool. In the evenings it was very romantic, the waiters took the tables to the beach, covered with white tablecloths, decorated with candles and flowers, multi-colored lanterns were lit on the trees. It was nice to sit under the sound of the waves, drink a cocktail, take beautiful photos at sunset. On the beach itself, the sand is soft and pleasant.
Nature is unkempt, plants have just begun to be planted, a wild place. Of course, you need to be prepared for insects and all sorts of living creatures, given the location of the houses (a mountain surrounded by wildlife) and the house itself, made of bamboo and straw, like a basket, with many holes that allow all young guests to enter. At night I didn’t sleep at all from the word: from the constant rustling, nightly serenades of lizards and the clatter of small feet on the floor, walls and ceiling. People, never throw leftovers of food and fruits into the basket in the house - a fun night is guaranteed for you! The compartment door to the bungalow kept jamming. Locusts the size of a palm wanted to climb into the crack. There are no questions about linen, everything is not new, but clean enough, changed every day. The pool is small and constantly occupied, and this is understandable - the beach is inaccessible, as it is full of stones and corals, you won’t go into it, especially when there are waves. With a calm sea, there are a couple of places where you can carefully go in and swim close and carefully, as there are corals and stones. You can comfortably lie in a sun lounger on the beach in the shade of mighty trees, relax, which is what we did in the main. There were not enough umbrellas around the pool. Rather, there was only one, always busy, and in the heat you fry in 5 minutes. Therefore, with a relatively small number of vacationers in the pool, it is quite crowded and all the sun loungers are occupied. Separately, I want to say about the restaurant in the surrounding area. Nice terrace with sea view. Many of the waiters are friendly and provide good service, but we had no luck with our waiter/tka. We are never homophobic, we are friendly to everyone - the main thing is that the person is good, but we came to relax, not to strain. We were served as if we had not come to the restaurant, but to us, but with a displeased face of a goat, as if we had disturbed her / his peace.
Family atmosphere
Good breakfast buffet which was included, lovely beach location at the resort.
Our bungalow was old, the bathroom was 3 steps down. (must be seen to understand) They would probably tear it down & build a new one for next season. Pig expensive to rent a vespa, better to go into the village & rent.
The food was excellent and the price was right! You could have dinner right on the water, it was very nice! Good staff. There was always shade on the beach.
Very nice area. However, we were at the top and I personally found the stairs very impassable. Our bungalow was functional, very dark and poorly lit. There weren't enough sunbeds on the beach for everyone.
Very friendly and helpful staff with genuine smiles
The doors to the bungalow were hard to close, it took a long time to fiddle with the lock. But there was a safe inside, so we didn't worry about things.
You live in the middle of nature with monkeys, lizards and other small animals
The road to the last bit was so bad that you felt locked in, you couldn't get that far outside the area
- Quiet location and fantastic views - jacuzzi on the balcony - large bungalow with plenty of storage space - sun loungers on the balcony - reasonable prices for the mini bar - very friendly and very helpful staff, you feel really comfortable - Free shuttle to the pier - delicious food in the restaurant at reasonable prices - Really nice stretch of beach, not the prettiest place for snorkeling but you can see some fish - Football Bundesliga on free tv ;D All in all we had a perfect stay, enjoy again!
if you can name something here, then maybe the smell in the bathroom, otherwise everything was perfect
The staff were very polite and friendly. We didn't get the accomodation we paid for the first night but the staff handled the Booking.com mistake well. The area is really quiet and pleasant. The restaurant had good and inexpensive food.
In the first day's bungalow, the closet smelled of musty mildew. The beach was rocky and there were a lot of broken bottles on the beach. I didn't dare to walk barefoot on the sand.
The staff, the calm, the greenery
The beach is not swimmable at low tide The standard of the room very worn The road to the hotel very difficult to get to Nike or to walk when it has rained
Absolute tranquility, very well maintained resort, in the middle of wild nature, comfortable, excellent restaurant and good value for money (a bit pricey for Thailand, but worth it). Gorgeous garden and setting, exceptional views. The boss organizes all the passes in the long tail or 4x4. Friendly staff. Despite everything, the resort is not isolated, you can explore the surroundings. And check out the monkeys!
3 times nothing: why is there no towel rack...and pointing to the companion who only speaks Thai=))
The site is excellent. The hotel is located in a very well maintained equatorial garden. It's very quiet and relaxing. The staff is caring. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices.
It's a little far from the village
Gorgeous spacious bungalow, very clean and comfortable, terrace with exceptional views. Very good breakfast. All the staff are very helpful and very friendly. Tip-top restaurant on the beach. Wonderful holiday in a superb setting. Thanks
We had a deluxe bamboo cottage with a central location and great views. The sea and the beach are right on the doorstep. Massage from Nui is especially recommended, here every movement is perfect.
The last part of the road to the resort was steep, very difficult to manage.
The resort is a paradise for those who seek tranquility! Romantic dinner on the beach at sunset, watching the monkeys playing at breakfast, Thai massage, enjoying the sea view from the jacuzzi (honeymoon suite)..
Cushions for hard plastic beach chairs would greatly increase the enjoyment. The Thai/oil massage was nice but not very professional. Excursions and transfers are very expensive. Much cheaper in neighboring resorts or in the city!
What a pleasant surprise! Top hotel with all its services, romantic dinner by the water in the evening, pure happiness as the island is not polluted, calmness and relaxation. We rented a scooter 10 minutes walk to get around the island. People are adorable! Monkeys on the beach some more...
If there is a downside it could be the location of our room at the very top with a not so nice staircase....but that's just a detail. If you are not too physically fit, please indicate this when booking.
Everything was perfect, from start to finish. Great location, great food, lovely staff. Very few people, peace and tranquility! Upper!
Amazing object! Located on the tiny, paradise island of Koh Jum. Located right next to the beach, overlooking the sea (wonderful sunsets), with an atmospheric restaurant. A hotel in the form of bamboo and wooden bungalows - of various standards, with a small, albeit atmospheric swimming pool. Beautiful surroundings, silence, peace, complete relaxation, in the evening you can enjoy the sounds coming from the jungle. Lovely dinners on the beach with very good food. Amazing service! A climatic beach, low tides in the afternoon, albeit until 14:00 wonderful water, the beach almost exclusively. The whole island has a unique atmosphere, away from parties, noise and commerce. I think it is a facility of the highest standard on the whole island! I recommend!
We had a great stay and will definitely be back. The perfect retreat for both couples and families who want peace and closeness to nature. Magical views and superb cocktails at the bar. A dream to visit...!
There is nothing to complain about.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful beach, lots of relaxation, good food and cozy bungalows. Early check-in is possible without problems
Scooter/taxi/car required for excursions (relatively expensive). Transfer from hotel by boat to ferry with longer waiting time
Location, friendly staff, beach
very basic bungalow, bathroom and toilet are very basic, the staff tried very hard but the value for money was not right (about a third of the price would be ok by thai standards). In any case, the photos are made so well that you want more.
Location and complex, very heavenly and peaceful
Rooms are old and not renovated. There was no air conditioning last night, the doors closed very badly and the recycling center at the foot of our terrace.
Before that, we had only spent the night in hostels, so for us it was in seventh heaven! However, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was beautiful and a lovely shower! Fantastic view, but the jacuzzi is crazy?
The bed was a bit on the hard side.
I really liked the island, not the hotel at all. Good breakfast, a bit repetitive and helpful staff.
The hotel is very old, located on a remote beach. The beach is dirty, there is a lot of natural debris, you can swim only at high tide, when the tide is out, there are a lot of stones. The hotel has a swimming pool, but it is very small. We settled in a small room that does not match the description (it was indicated with a sea view). The view was on the roofs of neighboring bungalows. There are huge gaps everywhere in the room, although air conditioning is installed, the window is small. Huge cockroaches live in the bathroom, although they appear only in the evening. Thanks to the staff responded to the request to move to another room. The view from the other room was wonderful on the sea, the area of the room is very large, but no one canceled the cracks and cockroaches. You can’t get anywhere from the hotel on foot, even on a bike it’s problematic, since there is no normal road near the hotel, prices in the restaurant are high compared to prices in cafes on the island .. If we return to the island, we will never visit this hotel.
Great hotel, a true paradise. Spacious room with exceptional sea view, dinner on the beach, hotel restaurant, just great. The staff is very very friendly and exceeds all your expectations, many thanks in particular to Wutu for his kindness and professionalism. Thank you all.
Nothing
- very large room - super friendly staff - calm, uncomplicated and at the same time very reliable (transfers are organized very well) - Great view from your own balcony - very tasty food, large menu - tried a lot of things and everything without exception was good - Dinner on the beach (book in advance!)
- Not recommended for people who are not very good on foot - due to the large number of stairs. Also in the house (a teak villa overlooking the sea) there were two large steps to the bathroom. - Wild dogs on the beach made my morning run somewhat difficult.
We booked a superior villa as we wanted to end our wonderful holiday with a wonderful resort. In the end, we paid 180€ - which is what you can expect! However, the resort is not the same as in the photos. Bungalows are very different from standard ones. We were unlucky, and we ended up in the last row in a very musty cabin. The pool is more like a kids pool with four sun loungers. Relaxed rest is not possible. The breakfast is not the best, but ok. The room, on the other hand, is incredibly old. All prices in the resort are twice as expensive as outside (no, this is not normal)! Also, the staff is not very helpful, let alone friendly. Generally not recommended.
Effort after our complaint about the room. We got an upgrade.
Price and performance is not true. I specifically chose this accommodation for relaxing days. I agreed to a higher price (for Thailand). The area is already very worn out, cleanliness in the breakfast area is improving, the beach didn't appeal to us. The pool is very small and there are only a few sunbeds, no pillows and they look dirty. Bungalows are all very different (moved 3 times). Bathrooms are moldy and musty everywhere. The staff was also very inconsistent. The road to the property is difficult to drive and adventure. All in all, a big disappointment!
The staff were very friendly and pleasant, very helpful. Unfortunately due to several delays we arrived on the last ferry. We shortly took a taxi from the airport to the pier, by boat to Koh Jum, where we were personally picked up at the pier by car from the hotel, since there are no longer long boats. Fantastic dinner on the beach. (Food was great). Everything was arranged for a check out with no problems.
The bungalows were ok. (staff always ready) bed is very hard. The air conditioner is outdated. Our room was very musty, so we had to wash all our clothes. The tiles in the pool are broken and have sharp edges. Unfortunately, the beach cannot be used due to rocks and jellyfish. Scooter 750 baht is extremely expensive for one day. It is better to walk forever on a steep mountain and rent a scooter for normal money at the top of the paved road. The path to the hotel is very adventurous. (Only for very experienced drivers).
The hotel is conveniently located in the countryside and right on the beach. There is a swimming pool, and in the evening you can dine on the beach. Excellent sea view from the bungalow, very quiet and peaceful. fall asleep to the sound of the sea.
Due to the very natural location, we had roommates with animals (spiders, cockroaches). But the staff immediately took care of it. Somewhat secluded from shops and civilization. If you want to relax, that can be nice too!
The room (Honey Monn Suite) was really great. The view was outstanding. I thought the food at the resort was good, but the price is a little high compared to what was on offer. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The sea and the beaches are really fantastic, but at low tide, the pleasure of swimming is a little overshadowed, as the water is very shallow and there are many stones.
Scooters are overpriced. It requires 350 baht for 3 hours. 15 minutes walk and you can take a scooter for 250 baht per day. The jacuzzi in the suite has only cold water. W-Lan is not available in the room (but who wants to be bothered by emails in heaven)
Friendly and caring staff. The tranquility of the site and the beach. The restaurant is very good with food on the beach. We stayed 5 days with internet out for 2 days but the staff allowed us to access shared data from their laptops, very nice. In addition, the manager gave us a discount on the mini bar and gave us a small gift on check out to apologize for the inconvenience. Really very commercial.
Nothing
Great rooms! There was a teak villa with a sea view! An absolute dream! Mostly nice staff, always took care of wishes and problems.
Transfer to / from the hotel: was arranged by the hotel, but the ferry was booked for us only after repeated requests. Were informed several times, but prefer to take a boat. There were nails in the room due to a missing floorboard, asked about the injury but nothing was fixed. It is especially difficult with two small children. The paths were very steep with stairs, but after a few days we quickly got used to it!
Here you really get down to gear. Beautiful island. It's a bit like stepping back in time in Thailand.
Everything else great, great staff, tasty dishes in the restaurant, good breakfast, beach ok
The jacuzzi on the balcony does not have hot water, so it is generally a dummy The bathroom is suitable for renovation cracking tiles A bit far from everything, the access road to the hotel does not encourage walking
Quiet location, nobody and nothing around. I don't know how many people there are in season.
The accommodation is very used, the smell in the bathroom (toilet at the station), the stench in the room before and after the rain. The driveway is horrible, especially after the rain.
Your own balcony invites you to read! Few people on the beach and great sunset view!
Prices for massage and scooter rental
The spectacle was sensational. Caring staff. Lovely sandy beach. The food was very good.
The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos. But the view is great. Drink prices maybe a bit high, you have to add a special island tax of 7% on the prices displayed on the map. And being isolated, it's hard to eat or drink elsewhere to find cheaper.
The location is excellent. If the cabins are rustic, you can still enjoy the Robinson Crusoe life. The people around are super nice.
Scooters for rent at exorbitant prices. Cleaning is a little superficial. Sheds have no storage space and no shelves to put things on. No mirror in the bathroom (forget to shave for long stays) Poor canoe with broken oars as the only entertainment. In short, the devastating experience of a vacation when competitors are putting in much more effort nearby.
A beautiful place, it's a beautiful place full of vegetation and animals. The houses are spectacular and the staff very friendly and helpful, we ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and everything was delicious.
There were cobwebs on the ceiling, but that might be okay after all since it's in the middle of all the vegetation.
All liked it.
We spent a wonderful week in this paradise, from which it was very difficult for us to leave! The staff are very nice, helpful, smiling and go above and beyond for the customers. The owner of the hotel is a very humane person and goes out of his way to meet the expectations of his customers. The tranquility and permanent sea view are very positive and especially rejuvenating moments! The restaurant and bar offer a great ambience, with a varied selection of dishes to ensure everyone finds what they are looking for. Special mention of Thai cuisine! The bungalow was very nice, we really enjoyed staying in this type of accommodation! There is only a bathroom that needs a little freshening up :-). Breakfast is always plentiful and may be missing one or two small sweets like pastries or spreads.
We liked the resort because at the beginning of the season it was still very cheap and we could see the sea from our bed. There is generally not much to see on the island and it is indeed very quiet. In addition, the resort is very isolated and excursions from the resort itself are very expensive. We then rented a scooter from the street and also planned our own arrival and departure. Suitable for a relaxing holiday and not so much for an active holiday
Very nice bungalows with sea view
Many animals (spiders, spider eggs, centipedes, etc.)
The food was very tasty. The villa is comfortable and beautiful. Massage is highly recommended. Drinks at the Sea View Bar at sunset added to the party feeling.
Beautiful location and very helpful
There was nothing wrong
A quiet place and a fairly free arrangement of the premises mainly contributes to relaxation and leisurely doing nothing. The remote location also slows things down a lot. The breakfast is very good and varied. The beach and the complex are cleaned every day, and the staff is very friendly and takes care of the wishes of the guests.
The internet connection was pretty poor during our stay but they worked their hardest.
On the edge of the beach, the bungalows are quite spaced and don't let in, very quiet at this time of year.
600 meters along a hilly dirt road to the exit to the road leading to the village.
➡️ Brilliant location ➡️ Great service ➡️ good prices ➡️ Tasty food
➡️ A broken bathtub in the bathroom ➡️ Shower - supposedly there is a rain shower, but not connected - it makes a handle for the handset ➡️ In the room, a wardrobe eating mold ➡️ In general, it's time to refresh the interior.
Sea view rooms - Friendliness of the staff
Dirty beach - Small pool - Average restaurant
Room and restaurant were good
Breakfast. Unfriendly staff, location difficult to get to. Bad information about the next destination (terrible boat trip, due to bad weather, waves over the boat, the boat almost capsized, had to wear life jackets and the luggage was soaked through, in short, terrible!! (they should have given us this information in advance )
