There were a lot of stairs, I thought that was a bit too much, you always had to do them, the same where you went. The last part of the road was very bumpy and full of holes that needed some repair. We rented scooters there and they could be renewed, they were a bit too old, they broke down 2 times,

It says there should be a massage/spa but there wasn't. but it was only to walk 50 meters and the next hotel had it.

Restaurant price a little above average. Off-center location, taxi 500 thb for 2 people between Ocean resort and Wynn tea hotel and back. Excessive but no choice.

The fact that it does not appear anywhere on your page that there are stone steps right above everything is strange. Now I mean MANY steps! Prams, wheelchairs or bad knees absolutely do not work here! Not on the beach either, but in the jungle! About 500 steps from our cabin down to the beach on a steep stone staircase. And then we lived roughly in the middle of the jungle. We were supposed to have a sea view, saw only palm trees, completely overgrown. Like no one knows any English, booked the wrong things when they tried to help us. Incredibly expensive place. Hotel right next door took about half for a massage. If you can't drive 125 in terrain that corresponds to enduro driving, you can't get from the hotel yourself, incredibly bad road the last bit. 800 m from the center as Booking writes must have lost a zero, at least 8 km to the nearest settlement with a small shop.

If you don't want to be totally disappointed I would advise against this resort. The facility is in dire need of refurbishment before guests can be accommodated here again. Unfortunately, the resort does not correspond in any way to the pictures on the internet. The complex is completely run down, neglected and ailing. We had booked the honeymoon villa, it doesn't match the pictures at all and we were shocked at first. The villa was dark, smelled musty, the terrace was very small, rotten and without a tub (which was the smallest problem :-)). We then got an update on the boathouse, we wouldn't have stayed a night in the villa!! The boathouse corresponds to the pictures and is the only one with loungers on the terrace. This was not entirely unimportant, because otherwise there were no beach chairs. Only at the pool which were available, if you can call them that. Dirty or with soaked, worn pads. Since the pool area wasn't particularly inviting otherwise, that didn't bother us as much. Another issue, which the resort is not responsible for, was that a mudslide blocked the only access road. On the day of arrival we had to climb over the scree, which was not without its dangers. As a result, we were now cut off from the island and couldn't get out of the facility.👎 As the supply situation worsened day by day, food supplies started to run out, the electricity was cut off during the day and the wifi didn't work. (We then got his tablet from the manager as a hot spot) we decided to leave earlier. The manager tried very hard, but completely overwhelmed with the whole situation. No information on the current situation. We had to keep asking ourselves how to proceed. He promised us a lot, free dinner, massage, etc., which ended up being on the bill.

It is VERY secluded, not much life on the beach and no restaurants nearby. The staff speak very poor English, or none at all, except for the reception manager. During Corona: we had to submit a saliva sample on arrival and were filmed during the entire performance of the test.

It's important to know that the resort is on a slope with lots of stairs (this didn't bother us) but if you're not very good at walking it will be difficult. the road to the resort is adventurous, but the resort is not responsible for this…

Unfortunately, very far from the beaten track ... without a scooter, you are lost here. The road or path to the hotel is difficult to pass, this is possible only for experienced scooter drivers. Food and drinks in the hotel restaurant are above average expensive.

Just too expensive for what you get. €30 less per night for a simple bungalow would be more than reasonable. It's nothing special and the breakfast for example is pretty poor. With a normal price / performance ratio, the estimate would be better - I just don’t understand where you get such a price from ...

The beach part is not the most beautiful. You should pay attention to the money in the housing. When we rented a scooter, we were given the wrong amount of change (300 baht for rent, 1000 baht, back 400). When we told the staff about this, they apologized, they thought we needed a scooter for two days. Good not bad. However, we observed the same behavior in the other two couples. The bill also had an item that we didn't even use.

The access road to the resort is very interesting and if you don’t know how to handle a scooter, do not use it. The laundry service was very expensive, in my opinion unjustified.

Everything was great.

Super beautiful area, jungle - monkeys, had a wedding villa overlooking the surroundings to the sea - a bath on the terrace was the highlight of every evening. Staying by the pool is also very enjoyable - usually almost nothing happens. The beach is ok. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was very varied. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. 4 small bottles of water and coffee in the room (almost) every day. Perfect for relaxing - but you have to be prepared for stairs / steps 😉 and sometimes like the strong wind on the beach and in the restaurant.

The longtail boat maintenance fee is charged at check-in. It's only 100 baht (about 3 euros) but it should be included in the room price or it's better to inform in advance.
