Mediocre hotel good breakfast superb dinner at Mammamia wall to wall with the hotel.
Near the beach, near the shopping street and restaurants.
A lot of noise from the street responsive, dirty pool o worn. Therefore did not test the pool furniture that was around the pool. The pictures lied must have been taken a long time ago.

Great location right on the beach
The location right on the beach and in the center of town was great. All shops, taxis within walking distance. The apartment is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The Ice Cream Rolls are awesome - you have to try them.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning cannot be regulated and it is very noisy. The rooms are very noisy, but that didn't bother us. The towels and bathroom mats are very worn, often broken and thin. They should be renewed.

Some charm.
Small family structure with a lot of charm located at the edge of the beach. Welcome by the adorable owner, he speaks several languages including French. We occupied a beautiful room with a large terrace and sea view. The food is exceptional. Katy and George.

We had booked the beach study. unique. You can't get more directly on the beach. The balcony facing the beach offers a fantastic panoramic view and enough space to relax. Big spacious room, friendly staff and a smiling and always helpful owner Jan. Any problem is solvable with him. If you don't want a fancy Micki design shop, but want a touch of Thailand with all the tourism, you've come to the right place. Authentic Thai restaurant on the beach side, breakfast restaurant on the street front, dozens of shops and restaurants next door. Everything within walking distance. Absolute recommendation from us.

2nd stay in Kamala. The staff is upstairs kindness. Dream place. Pool room and quiet ..... I will definitely return when I am in the area.

The location of Kamala Dreams is amazing! The best on the beach! Right on the beach. Nice beach walk to Kamala's best restaurants.
Due to Covid time, both restaurants in front and behind the hotel were closed. So no breakfast and no pleasure in making Duan.

Disappointing
The complex is located in a quiet location at the end of the beach, with direct access to the beach. It's G
In short, very poor, neglected and unattractive. Attention: the photos on the Internet are very old and do not reflect the current situation! The air conditioner does not work properly, is noisy and you only get 1 room key which you cannot start. The proposed beachfront studio is a sea view room with a corrugated iron roof that houses the rest of the beach. Corresponding kitchen noise can be heard from there in the morning and smelled later. If you like simplicity, you are right, but then the price / performance ratio is not right! We paid a lot of money for something (supposedly) special that we didn't find - moved to a hotel next door after 3 days😊

very nice host. Everything we asked for was done with a smile and no problem. Studio apartment on the beach - view of the Suuuper from the terrace. Location in the very center of Kamala.
The only thing that can be improved is the breakfast. But who cares about breakfast in Thailand.

Perfect location!
The accommodation was perfectly located in Kamala along the main street and at the back directly connected to the beach. Helpful staff where we above all took help of Jan's recommendations several times regarding suitable excursions. Beautiful location with sea view. Not so bathing friendly just behind the hotel but beautiful location from the beach restaurant and a 100 meter walk over a bridge and you were on the quieter part of the beach. Good food in both restaurants and even though the hotel had a slightly older standard, the rooms were cleaned carefully and towels/sheets were changed every day so it felt fresh and affordable. Stayed in room 207 (last room at the hotel), which I read some negative comments about before. However, we were satisfied with the room's size and standard and we also had a sea view from the slightly smaller balcony. No safety box in the room but a lockable chest of drawers worked well where we could lock up our most important documents. We will be happy to come back and then we will probably pay the small sum extra to get a larger balcony with a more open sea view.
The only downside was how the hotel Wi-Fi worked. Sometimes the connection in the room worked, but often it didn't. However, the connection worked well at both restaurants and at the pool. We had read about this beforehand so were prepared for it.

Friendliness and kindness. The boss is approachable and attentive. There is both the beach and the environment. Very good restaurant service, everything is in place and very good.
The spa does not work. I was expecting a beach bungalow, but in fact it is not, it is a hotel with a beach terrace.

Will probably not be used on the next occasion.
- No hot water in the taps either in the bathroom or kitchen. -No reception which i.a. can keep the room key guarded when you are out. When I returned, all I had to do was get the key from a box on the "reception" table. - The breakfast offer is limited and boring.

Hotel right on the beach with disadvantages

On the terrace it smelled from the sewers (right under the terrace), in the room, despite the climate, it was unbearably warm. The breakfast is very limited to 3 different things that you have to choose.

We can't think of anything, maybe a direct exit from the room to the pool, if you want to swim in the warmth - like everywhere else -
The hotel had its heyday. The room is large, but bare and uncomfortable. The breakfast service has a lot of potential, apart from the fact that it is located right on the street. At the beginning of the beach about 100 meters, right in front of it is the smelly city canal ...

Quiet place, close to the beach, own pool. Homely pleasant environment in the center of Kamala. There was a clientele of our age in this smaller hotel. We have the hotel booked for 2020 as well. A great restaurant with excellent cuisine by the pool. The pool is decorated with lots of different flowers.

Absolutely great location, right on the beach and with restaurants, shopping miles and whatever else you need. The hotel has two restaurants and an ice cream counter. The absolute hammer! It should also be noted very positively that the boss speaks very good German, English, French, etc., He is very helpful and friendly. Our hot water boiler was out of order on arrival and was replaced the next day! Happy to be back in Kamal Dreams ....
The relatively impressive price is best justified by the excellent location.

The location is ideal, on the seafront with direct access, although it is true that you have to walk about 100 meters to get to the best stretch of the beach, as the one in front coincides with the mouth of the canal. Still, the views are good. On the street where it is located, there are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets to walk through. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The room is very well decorated, it is better to choose a room with direct access to the pool.
First, we select the “last room” as stated in the booking. What we first thought would be a room on the top floor turned out to be a room that is at the end of the corridor, so it is very dark there, there is a small terrace, but overlooking the adjacent terraces, you cannot see the pool and the sea, and there is an extractor hood in the kitchen that smells when cooked. It is also not well decorated. We spoke to the owner as this was not what we expected, he explained that this room has a lower price for these reasons, but since he had vacant rooms, we agreed to pay a little more and change rooms.
