super good love the hammock
wonderful little hotel. we stayed there for 4 nights and had a pool access room. a room that had direct access to the pool on the ground floor. however nice you could walk 2 meters from the room and you were in the pool. all rooms had a hammock you could set up on your terrace. the breakfast, the only option was to have it delivered at a certain time to your own terrace and the day before you had to fill in what you wanted. then they knocked when breakfast was served. we liked them very much. the rooms were very large and all had a jacuzzi if you like that kind of thing. there are only about 10-15 rooms in the hotel, so it was very quiet when we got there. the staff were very nice
if you are very sensitive to smells, this hotel is not for you. the hotel is right next to one of the canal runs so sometimes they can smell a bit boring. but they only disturbed us for the first quarter of an hour, then they were calm. because of this outlet, you should not swim right outside the hotel either. so therefore you get gp 100 meters away before they are ok to swim.

Nice hotel in the quiet Kamala beach
Very nice hotel in a beautiful location in the quiet Kamala Beach. Our nicely decorated room had a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel entrance is on a pleasant street with shops and restaurants. Beach with facilities and delicious street food a few meters away. Friendly staff!
Small pool but not a big deal with the beach so close by.

Seafront of the most beautiful beach in Phuket
Small charming hotel, only 15 rooms, directly on the beach. Large room, very comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Breakfast served in the room every morning. The staff is courteous and very kind.
Smell of humidity in our room, located on the first level, several deodorants were scattered in the bathroom to hide the smell. The 4 * evaluation of the hotel is, in my opinion, too high (if I compare with the 4 * where I stayed in Thailand). A 3* would be fairer for this establishment.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with the hotel.
The breakfast was served in the room/balcony and was quite simple, but absolutely OK.

Kamala beach in peace!
Location on the seafront. Quiet location and yet a few meters from restaurants and shops. Our duplex room with roof top facing the sea, jacuzzi bath and breakfast served on our terrace on which a hammock was installed
The entrance to the hotel at the end of a not very clean dead end. Absence of parasol on the roof top to take advantage of the deck chairs.

We spent 4 very pleasant nights there, we had a room that overlooked the swimming pool, the top! clean and very spacious room ideal location, close to all shops and at the same time quiet. very welcoming staff
the beach in front is not terrible bad smells from the canal next door

A very cute little hotel with the best beachfront location in Kamala.
The location is great, away from the hustle and bustle and yet in the middle of life.
The air conditioning needs maintenance, it smelled musty.

Small hotel with large rooms and fantastic location
• Breakfast right in front of the room by the pool overlooking the sea • very large and well furnished room • very nice staff
• A canal runs into the sea on the side of the accommodation. You don't notice anything, you just shouldn't necessarily go swimming at the point.

good location and very nice beach nearby
the location ‘we hear the sound of the waves from the room. a 3 min walk from the area of umbrellas and deckchairs (100 baht per day). spacious and clean room. the street with lots of restaurants. count 120 baht for chicken rice
the arrival !!! I thought it was a bad movie! what horror this dead end full of scooters and dustbins! then it's ok but really what a bad surprise. the rooms on the ground floor have a terrace but no privacy because you overlook the passage back from the beach.. do not take rooms 5, 6, and 7. on the other side it overlooks the swimming pool and the floors are much better but more expensive. the pool is cramped and only 4 deckchairs. big disappointment at the reception: the level of English is catastrophic and difficult to be understood. it can cause some problems.

Breakfast was always the same and also very carelessly made not to compare the pictures also not as in the description was to be expected a hassle concierge does not exist the main entrance from the street is very dirty

Affordable luxury with a magical view
All. We lived in a storey with a balcony, jacuzzi and sun terrace. The view of Kamala beach and the headland towards Freedom beach is outstanding. Breakfast was served on your own balcony! Although some details are a bit worn, we got the feeling of luxury accommodation.
Nothing to complain about.

A hotel that cannot be recommended!
Central location to restaurants and the beach
Half of the rooms on the ground floor have a footpath leading directly past the terrace. Breakfast has to be ordered in advance if there is not much choice and is then served in the room. No reorder possible. The description of the hotel does not state that it is a "halal" hotel.

The wifi only worked behind my bedroom door.

Super nice hotel with great sea view and the best location. Amazing
Hotel Layalina is a small cozy wonderful hotel. The rooms are fantastic, especially with their own roof terrace. You can order breakfast on the terrace. The sea view was lovely, staff very friendly, everything was very clean. All translations went great, thank you very much. Lots of restaurants around the hotel, we stayed there for 7 nights and ate at a different place every night, it was always very good.
The beach is very touristy, sunbed after sunbed. Luckily we had a roof terrace. The hotel is on a creek, sometimes it smells like sewage, but that was only once in 7 nights.

- good location by the sea
- there was 1 cockroach in the room as the basement and sewerage is in front - Staff not very friendly - Shower head calcified, splattered all over - No flexibility as you have to specify what you want to eat and when you want to eat the night before. In addition, the breakfast is very meager and if you want two items from the same category, you will have to pay extra. Also, our breakfast was often incomplete - Halal is not mentioned anywhere

Value for money is not very good considering the dirty surroundings of the hotel.
Large bedroom and spotlessly clean bathroom. The staff is attentive to requests.
The balcony of the room and the breakfast area overlook a canal with bad smells. To enter the hotel, you need to cross a yard full of mopeds, with a pile of rubbish in a niche.

Really nice hotel for the price with a nice location, and the staff were so nice and service minded.
Super nice breakfast, where you choose from a menu, and can have it served either on your terrace in your room, or in the common dining area by the pool. The card is handed in the evening before, and then you decide for yourself what time it will be served. The day we were going home, our departure from the hotel was at 07.00, when breakfast is served from. They were so nice that they could serve us at 06.30 so that we could make it before departure.

One of the best hotels during our trip in Thailand!
Fantastic view! Wonderful breakfast is served on your own terrace! Very good cleaning! An extra plus is being able to lie in your own hammock and listen to the waves of the sea. Our two boys 3 and 5 also had a great time at this hotel!
The male staff at the front desk really need to learn how to welcome their fetuses and provide good service.

Relax in kamalas
Central location in relation to the city. The room with access to the pool is very large and comfortable. The pool is very clean and it is possible to turn on the jacuzzi. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Excellent cleanliness and helpful staff.
The access to the hotel from the road is in a very small and very dirty street with motorbikes available for rent, so it detracts from the quality of the building. The presence of a drainage channel makes the beach in front of the hotel inaccessible.

Good hotel but not at that price
Location by the beach, just cross a bridge and you're there. Large and clean rooms, if noisy. You had to order an individual breakfast, which was served on the balcony.
The entrance to the hotel is into an alley past a restaurant and up a flight of stairs to a private residence. The stairs are filled with everything from children's shoes to a starter motor. It is a Muslim hotel. The girls in the staff were very cute, but one of the guys at the reception was both rude and nonchalant. The beds were really hard, even by Thai standards, the pillows were high and gave me neck pain. When I asked if we could change pillows, I was told that those were the pillows that were available. Finally got a small children's pillow, which was also rock hard.

Breakfast is only made to order the night before, minimum offer, hotel is halal so no eggs and bacon, order was rarely done correctly. Strandweg leads right in front of the room! hundreds of observers.

Too expensive!
The room was a good size but aging, old fashioned. The balcony in our room was large.
The price of this hotel is not justified. You don't read beforehand that it is HALAL - but you should know it. You always had to say WHEN and WHAT you wanted for breakfast the night before - that freedom of spontaneous decision is taken away from you - especially on vacation you don't always know when you will get up!

great
A very well hidden hotel on the beach. Small clean pool, just enough to cool off. Quiet but central location with many restaurants, bars etc nearby. However, you won't get anything from the hustle and bustle. Friendly and hardworking staff. They said they were celebrating a birthday, and in the morning they brought a cake with singing to our balcony. This made us very happy and we were absolutely delighted. We will return anytime.
This is not the fault of the accommodation: a river flowed past the hotel, which smelled of sewage from time to time, as it was probably used as a sewer. But there was no smell in the rooms.

Didn't live up to our expectations. The broken pool cast the biggest shadow on us
Unfortunately the pool has just been refurbished. comfort from day to day. There was no compensation, no discount!!! We actually booked the hotel because of the pool right on the beach in front of the hotel. It was significantly better in 2018.
The pool is not currently in use. The staff is too inattentive.

No recommendation
The location is great on the beach and the rooms are very large. Lots of shops and small restaurants.
Disadvantage of great location: located on the street, on a canal/river. This often creates an unpleasant sewer smell in the room. In heavy rain, this is probably why the big cockroaches were looking for shelter with us. The manager said it was "good". The meow (maid) is very efficient and clean, but this does not hide the fact that the rooms are dilapidated. The breakfast selection must be ordered the night before at a specific time. For example, if you want a second cappuccino: extra charge!

"Okay" describes the property well if you don't intend to spend time in it.
The facility is located right next to the beach. The hotel room itself is spacious with a balcony and a hammock. Beach mats, a bathrobe and slippers are at guests' disposal. In the bathroom you will find a cosmetic travel essential.
Breakfast terribly monotonous. Daily list to complete what is to be served for the first meal. For a week you could get tired of an omelette and rice with vegetables. Staff helpful but unfortunately not very good in English. I haven't asked for an iron once in a week. Unfortunately, the facility needs refreshing to encourage guests to spend 7 days there. Especially since there is little entertainment in the area. All bars closed at 22:00. The swimming pool is not very intimate and does not encourage you to use it.

Nice and meets our expectations
The hotel is very clean and the staff is attentive to travelers, perfect location to enjoy the beach and the center.
Lack of room for breakfast, a buffet would have been perfect.

Fantastic boutique hotel located right on the beach with entrance from the restaurant street
I stayed in a deluxe room during my stay, the room was large and fresh with a patio where you could hang a hammock. In the bathroom there was a lovely bubble bath. Breakfast is served at the desired time either in the room or outside at the service. You can order room service which only comes after 10 minutes, good Thai food. The hotel has a lovely little pool with some sunbeds, absolutely perfect. It is basically on the beach which is absolutely fantastic and very close to good restaurants. Pleasant and helpful staff.
When I was going to check out, the day before I had asked for a late check out, which the staff noted and agreed to, but at 12 o'clock the next day they called and asked why I hadn't checked out yet (was supposed to check out at 2 pm).

The facilities are good and easy to use. Although the air conditioner was broken when we first checked in, it was repaired after going out in the afternoon. It’s ok
About tips and services On the first day, I gave a tip to say hello, and then cleaned the room. Later, I found out that there was a service fee, but I didn't pay it. On the second day, we went out at night and came back to find that it hadn't been cleaned. Even on the third day, I couldn't take it anymore, so I went out to say hello, please clean up, and said yes, but no one came, saying that the water provided every day was not provided because it was not cleaned. Could it be that our language communication is so difficult... How did we communicate at the beginning (^^) I am only dissatisfied with this point, everything else is fine

Portable
The concept of comfort was beautiful, but old, at one time it was definitely one of the best, now it is not. The hotel is generally in poor condition; there were not enough cobblestones in the pool and you could cut yourself. The normal breakfast is weak in variety as every day is the same, it's good that it is brought to the room. With views, it's a bit rewarding, but the price we're paying isn't that great.

A bit pricey for what it is
Place in front of the sea.
Staff and attention. The door of the room was left open and they didn't have any details due to the seriousness of the matter and we couldn't change the hotel because we had to sign that they didn't refund. But we did not sign that no one needed our things, fortunately, nothing important was missing.

Places I want to visit again
The sea was in front of me, and it was the best location! I was able to spend a comfortable time swimming in the sea, walking, playing in the pool, and watching the children absentmindedly on the balcony. Kamala beach was also more beautiful than I expected and the sunset was very beautiful. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and massages nearby, and there are Big C, Phuket Fantasy, and the night market within walking distance, so I had a lot of fun!

Super boutique hotel
Location. Great view, we had an ocean view room by the pool. Large bed, jacuzzi, terrace, hammock. The staff is very friendly. The entrance is a little strange but from the moment you enter it is heaven! Really recommended. You go straight to a pleasant shopping street with many restaurants, shops, massage parlors... and in front of you is the beautiful, quiet Kamala Beach. This little charming hotel is way better than the big resorts! Don't hesitate, book now!
Sometimes Kamala smells like sewage. But it didn't bother us. The hotel is very clean and smells good.

Not the youngest house anymore.. but clean, great location and no mass atmosphere... again with pleasure!
