old hotel room needs renovation

Everything was great.

(rock) hard mattresses, at the very end (300mrt) of the site.

The room we booked in turned out to be much worse than in the photo. We paid extra at the reception and we were moved to a nice separate house.

As soon as I arrived they took me to see the room assigned to me. An indescribable thing. It was late and I didn't feel like looking for another hotel, and I was also afraid that if I left, they would still charge for my stay. From the presentation photos it looks like a garden of paradise, but once there you realize you're in a circle of Dante's hell. Non-functioning safe, no microwave, dirty and indecent bathroom (the toilet seat was washed by my wife, the color went from light gray to white). We requested an up grade which was granted to us only for the last 5 days, upon payment of the difference, we were assigned a bungalow of 16/18 m2, where there was neither a safety box nor a wardrobe, the only thing positive it was next to the pool. For the future I will only book in hotels that do not require a credit card as a guarantee, if I don't find offers of this kind I will contact known tourist agencies, thus avoiding ruining my holidays.

Facilities and rooms a bit old... Some fittings in the bathroom need to be renewed....

The facility is getting old and has been renovated too little or slowly. The showers at the swimming pool are so calcified or clogged that hardly any water escapes. For families with children one must warn - there is some risk of injury. The stairwell doesn't make a clean impression - you don't want to touch the railing. We only ate breakfast outside of the complex, since the breakfast room didn't look inviting. The beds are not comfortable - you can feel the springs. The bathroom is small and had no separation between the shower and the toilet.

there was no wi-fi in the room, the Internet worked only a few hours a day and only after a request to settle, and again disappeared. you can’t swim in the pool - most likely it is not cleaned, the water was muddy. the drain in the sink and in the shower is clogged, the water did not drain well. there were ants in the room, they climbed onto the bed😐

the swimming pool not very comfortable, the wooden deckchairs in a very bad state, no foam no towel very cold water and impossible to move them. the rooms on the second floor without a lift that Booking does not specify, very unpleasant with our leg handicap ???

The pictures on the internet did not resemble reality. These were probably from before the corona and, moreover, they only showed the most expensive accommodations. The lady at the reception could be a bit friendlier. No connection with the guests

Unfortunately, the back gate was closed, so we always had to make a long detour to visit a friend who lived only a few meters away from us.

Sun loungers, all over Jamtien beach, paid. One bedroom is very small and the bathroom is not in the bedroom, 2 bedrooms are large with bathrooms. San/nodes are very small in size. All rooms are not new, but working air conditioners. The furniture is very old, but working, as well as the bed with linens.

Did not like the location and the lack of a shuttle to the sea. To get to the tuk-tuk in one direction, you need to walk 1.5 km, and to get back to the hotel, you need to climb the same distance uphill, it was sometimes very infuriating.

Cleanliness, no safe in the room or even in the establishment, proximity of the rental villa with no respect for other residents, noise, very basic breakfast, only one toast machine and only sandwich bread, no bar, billing for water in the room on the day of departure, when it's marked as free

In this type of rooms, a balcony with glazing, the road is quite busy right under the windows. Very monotonous breakfast. They don't change at all.

The villas have been in need of renovation for a very long time. The walls are filthy, the toilets have rust from the century before last. Our villa did not have a kitchen. That is, in the kitchen there was a sink on legs. And that's it. No table, no microwave, no toaster... one outlet for this whole place called the kitchen. True, we were prepared for the fact that there would be no stove, but nothing at all ... fun

We were settled in the farthest building D, this is the distance from the beach street to the second, i.e. far enough. True, motorcycles as pick-ups drive around the territory, you just need to not be shy and call them at the reception if they are not on the street. The hotel is large, popular with both Russian and Chinese tourists. The latter are particularly noisy. Breakfast is also crowded and rather meager, there is not even boiled coffee. There is a kettle in the room but no tea/coffee packs. The shower room is good, no problem. Towels were changed, they seemed to be cleaned, but there was no feeling of cleanliness in the room, there was dust in the drawers. The hotel is not cozy, although there seems to be greenery, the paths are swept. It is noisy in itself plus there is road noise in the room.

It seemed that only one person at the reception really spoke English. The others nod and smile, but there is obviously no understanding. There was a problem with the Internet (it turned off completely) - they decided, but after several hours of reminders and first "on the knee", only a day later everything worked completely as it should. I didn't like how dark it was in the room and bathroom. Maybe, of course, because of energy-saving lamps, but the light was not enough for me.

View towards busy road, balcony could not be used. Unstable network. Chaotic breakfast with too many people, cramped and hectic.

Smell of sewage in the room, faulty wifi, no french tv.

The cleaning could have been better. The balcony has not been cleaned at all for 100 years. And there is no way to dry clothes. Yes, and cosmetic repairs would not hurt!

Very poor WiFi, water pressure in the shower was very weak.

Single breakfast. Could have been cheese, ham, cured meats and bacon. Only loaf could well have been a type of coarser bread as well.

Very small villa, closet in the bathroom, it is very inconvenient, because all the time things are wet. The territory is very large, but somehow unkempt. Mosquitoes are dark, because the villa is by the pool. The construction of a new facility near the restaurant was very noisy during the day.

For two years, the rooms were heavily suffocated, the door to the balcony did not open (blocked), the safe was not screwed to the floor (you can take it under your arm and carry it away :)), in the second room at the end of the vacation there was a strong smell of sewerage. The room was dirty.
