Best stay!
Basically everything: The room, a house with a terrace, clean and equipped with all comforts, located in a beautiful tropical garden with ponds but also the swimming pool, the super well-kept breakfasts with an extra choice of 'breakfast specials' and 'health food', the hospitable friendly service and the nice, small swimming pool. We were also spoiled with a free foot massage!

The Ruenkanok is definitely recommended.
Unsurpassed breakfast, definitely get the Thai special. You can also have omelettes made and/or help yourself from the buffet. The garden area is very well maintained and you can see very beautiful plants, which in Germany are only known as indoor plants. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and the pool is great too!

A very welcoming, tranquil resort for a longer stay!!
A wonderful alternative to the large hotel complexes in town and the surrounding area: very invitingly furnished bungalows in a park-like, very well-kept complex with small ponds and a nice swimming pool. Comfortable beds, good breakfast with pre-selection and other ingredients, parking lot in front of the entrance.
The 'beach' is about 150 m away, but can actually only be used at low tide, as the water (during the day) otherwise reaches the sea wall. However, a shuttle is offered to nicer beaches.

If we had had accommodation with no one above, I think it would have been exceptional
The setting: a green setting in a kind of ancient Thai house restored with great taste The staff: warm and professional welcome (special mention to Noo) The beach: 50 m (but with sand at low tide only) Thai dishes ordered for breakfast. The cooker does wonders.
The rooms located on the ground floor (we occupied room 18a) are absolutely not soundproofed with the floor above. We spent 7 nights in the hotel and normally slept only 4 nights. When the floor is occupied you are not only woken up by your neighbors but must live at their own pace. Obviously we asked to change rooms on our very bad night but this was refused and as we had paid all the nights in advance as we had been asked when we arrived, it was difficult to go elsewhere without straining the budget. I took a picture of the map of the hotel. Don't be fooled like us. Fortunately we ended the stay with a better impression because the owner changed our room for our last night. The breakfast is correct but the bread like the pastries is industrial and there is no yogurt. Finally we had chosen a room with kitchen but impossible to cook (see photo) You should also know that the hotel is quite off-centre. It is therefore necessary to plan a budget for travel

pleasant to rest after a week of visit
very nice quiet place as well as the situation, close to the sea. Very spacious duplex villa with a dining area, practical for families. Different proposals for breakfast, nice choice of fruit and rolls.
non-existent room service, we spent three nights, and the room was not made once!! too bad when everything else is really impeccable. a few people who allow themselves to reserve the deckchairs very early in the morning by installing their towels there. may not be a habit of the establishment but was the case during our stay.

Idyllic resort in a good location
The location of the RuenKanok is superb. It is only a few meters to the beach and you can quickly reach the main street with many shops, restaurants and markets. It is also only 10 minutes by scooter to Hua Hin night market. Nevertheless, the resort is quietly located in a small side street. The architectural style and the tropical plants create a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff at RuenKanok is just great. Everyone is absolutely friendly and accommodating. Upon request, we were given a scooter, which was then brought to the RuenKanok. The breakfast completes the overall impression. One of the best we've had in Thailand so far. There is a different Thai "special" every day, which can be ordered the day before. This is highly recommended and in terms of taste it was a new experience every day. For us, the RuenKanok was a very good address to arrive and acclimatize in Thailand. Gladly again.
Actually, there was only one thing we didn't like. When we got our backpack back from the closet, it was breaded in dust ;-)

beautiful grounds , like a thai village. Lots of plants and trees. Lovingly designed.
we were not allocated the chosen accommodation. We had to pay a surcharge. The accommodation was very dark and there were countless mosquitoes in the outdoor area and we had to ask for every mosquito coil.

hidden gem in Hua Hin for a wonderfully relaxing holiday
the small scale, beautifully landscaped garden, swimming pool, water features and lush tropical greenery. the Thai breakfast dishes that were prepared (at no extra cost) were nothing short of fantastic.
the only downside was the not great WiFi, making a phone call via Whatsapp was difficult.

Ruen Kanok a paradise.
The location, beautiful garden. Friendliness of staff. Free bike, free massage, free transport to beach with filled beach basket. Breakfast was great and original, but I especially liked the silence, no meaningless background 'music'. Peace!!

Only one detail: it is necessary to correct an error in the description of the hotel: if the ocean is indeed 50 meters away, it is not Khao Takiap beach, which is 1.5 km away .

Beautiful facility with small drawbacks and freshly made breakfast
The hotel is in the city and close to the beach, it is nice that you think the complex is outside of the city, the houses were built around a pool and a dyke, in the dyke there are goldfish and a monkey also visited us. Breakfast was OK, coffee was delicious, you just have to wait a long time for it, but it was freshly made, only American breakfast soon got boring.
The facility is in dire need of a refurbishment, the wall in the breakfast area is crumbling, the shower head holder was loose, overall some paint and minor repairs and the fence on the back dike needs to be higher too so you don't have to see the dirt from the neighbors.

Great place for a relaxing Thailand vacation
We have been here as a married couple in 2018 and we were already enthusiastic about the typical Thai house style of the complex. Optically very nicely arranged and really quiet. You don't notice at all that you are actually in the middle of a heavily built-up area. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good and a special Thai specialty is served for breakfast every day, which you can choose beforehand. The coffee tastes good :-) The room - in our case a villa by the pond (Villa with Pondview) is big enough. The obligatory air conditioning is available. Since we arrived during the rainy season and stayed the first two nights in a villa by the pond that does not have a canopy, we could not sit outside when it rained, but we were allowed to move to the first villa by the pond after other guests had left , which also had a corresponding canopy over the wooden terrace.
Compared to our first holiday in 2018 in this facility, when we visit again in October 2022, you notice a certain amount of renovation and investment backlog. Everywhere in the complex you can find chipped tiles and rotted wood, e.g. on the terraces, if you take a closer look. In the bathroom, the hoses from the shower and bathtub have already turned black and stink. Something like that doesn't have to be and should be exchanged. Although the room is clean at first glance and it is wiped with a damp cloth every day, the bed is freshly made and the towels are changed daily, but nobody bothers about cobwebs on lamps, ceilings, walls and windows. The wooden loungers by the pool have long since needed more intensive care and urgently need to be sanded down and repainted. At the pool, between the loungers, you will find an installation pipe coming out of the ground, from which an approx. 30 cm long power cable protrudes. Unfortunately, this already existed in 2018. Something like that doesn't give a good sense of security and if you don't need the cable, then it should simply be removed permanently. The covers of the seat cushions at the breakfast area and for the sun loungers all deserved cleaning. The seats for breakfast look a bit dingy and a thorough cleaning would be appropriate here too.

Just great
The resort is built in an old Thai style in a beautiful garden. It is lovingly fully authorized and furnished. The swimming pool is well located in the garden, large and equipped with sun loungers. Nearby are shops for daily needs and massage parlors. The breakfast is rich and good. There is a small cafe at the end of the garden. The beach is about 50-100 meters away. Bungalows are equipped differently. Not everything is new, but not old either, everything is in good condition.

A homely hotel
The hotel has a homely atmosphere. Although the staff was small, they were very friendly and the staff seemed to get along very well. The breakfast was as delicious as the reviews said. You can order the main dish the day before and it will be made as soon as you go to the breakfast venue in the morning. It was a pool view room, so I was able to relax while looking at the pool. A short walk to the beach. It felt good to take a walk in the morning. Khao Takiap is also within walking distance.
There is a lot of greenery, so there are inevitably a lot of mosquitoes. Mosquito coils are provided outside. To be honest, the area around the hotel is not very convenient, and I felt that it was quite difficult to move around. The staff told me that I could walk to Cicada Market because it is about 1km away, but I felt that the way back was dark and dangerous. I think you should definitely avoid walking alone.

Super relaxing in a tropical garden in a beautiful Thai style establishment.
In addition to the regular breakfast, a special Thai breakfast was offered every day, the beach was 50m from the hotel, and the hotel provided a bag with beach towels and slippers. The rooms and the entire hotel were lovingly furnished in Thai style. style We extended twice and stayed 8 nights.

You must do this once.
The facility is very quiet, I think not only because of Corona. The premises are built into the garden, which has been lovingly landscaped and maintained. It is worth taking a close look at the whole complex, because there are figures and decorations everywhere that make up Ruen Kanok. All in Thai style. There is no food on site. The staff each morning brought a small breakfast (scrambled eggs or something similar). You can make your own coffee with a kettle. To the beach 2 minutes.
We had a villa by the pond and mosquitoes too. Spirals of incense were burned every evening - unfortunately, this did not help much. What was really annoying was the air conditioner. The engine is attached directly to the wall of the room and is therefore very noisy.

What can I say . Great thing .
Simply everything! Top!. Location, facility, the peace, beach, atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast. was perfect . I think we'll be back. Great... But really only for people who want to relax. If you want to party, this is the wrong place.
There was nothing to complain about for us. Maybe the air conditioning a bit too loud.

Okay for a short stay, great rooms.
We were upgraded to a suite, room was huge. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room. Nice rooftop pool with enough space and loungers. Staff very friendly and tried hard. Very good location, metro train about 5 minutes away.
Unfortunately only single glazing, with a location directly on a busy street, it was very noisy. Corona has also made itself felt here: the actual breakfast buffet was probably stamped out for "a la carte" due to a lack of guests. only egg dishes, fruit and cornflakes could be ordered. Otherwise only toast and jam.

Great Thai-style hotel, each with a garden view, the hotel occupies a small area, but it is very exquisite, less than 100 meters from the beach, you can go down to play in the sand when the tide is low, and the hotel has a free car to the night market. High-priced oasis of well-being
The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of the city, a beautiful complex with classic wooden houses and lots of plants. The breakfast was chosen from the menu, was fresh and really good. It was also nice that there was always a dessert or fresh fruit in the afternoon as a small gift for the guests. The café attached to the hotel also prepares very good food. If you got a seat by the pool, it was also very nice and relaxing.
Unfortunately, our room was in a very dark corner of the complex, where there was hardly any sun and therefore a lot of mosquitoes plagued us. The only remedy was a mosquito killer for the socket, from which we had to buy a second one. All in all, it's a bit overpriced, but good for it.

Relaxed environment nice atmosphere prevails in the resort. Environment quiet but still fully equipped. Staff friendly and helpful.
Swimming pool a bit on the small side for 16 rooms and unfortunately we have experienced several times that there were not enough beds at the pool and parasols. In addition, the laundry service (of the hotel) is really expensive out of proportion.

Nice little oasis and in hindsight really a great stay!
The breakfast was great! A la Carté and a "taste explosion"! Thai food is fusion - said the breakfast girl and she was right! In addition the Phad Thai, waffles with homemade sauce and the rolls in the morning - simply fantastic! In addition, the many well thought-out amenities such as anti-mosquito spirals were lit every evening, anti-mosquito devices in the room, bathing shoes, beach bags, bathrobes, umbrellas, etc. The delicacies in the afternoon were delicious and we were always happy!
Unfortunately, the air conditioners are very noisy and we had to move to another villa. Which of course meant a little stress, but it was taken care of! The first room (20c) was unfortunately below the expected standard in terms of equipment (among other things, a broken lamp on the closet - was not replaced) and the size was also less than 45 m².

The facility is great, the garden lush and very well maintained. The pool adequate and very nice. The rooms are very nicely furnished, typical of the country, but the bed is too narrow. The breakfast was wonderful (freshly prepared delicious dishes from the menu), lots of choice! The Café Khing Kanok is very cozy and delicious
The street behind the hotel is nothing. Dirty shops and restaurants. 50m to the beach is correct, but the "beach" was a wall against which the waves crashed. No stay on the beach possible. There is a shuttle to Takiab Beach, but the beach is scabby and crowded.

A stunning Thai hotel
The hotel is located a 10-minute walk to the sea and you reach a lovely beach with white sand. The room in the hotel is stunning and spacious in Thai style There is a lot of space in the room and in the bathroom Every day a fruit and dessert surprise is brought to the room Breakfast just the right amount An excellent team that is at our disposal at any time. A comfortable and fun pool They provide bathrobes and beach towels
