A nice alternative to Chang Mai
The surface of the accommodation, the comfort, the swimming pool, are the strong points. The breakfasts are correct. The location may seem quite far from the center but easily accessible by tuk tuk and taxi (10 minutes) or even on foot (20 minutes) but much more authentic and in fact less touristy for amateurs. Good value for money.
The rooms of the Odissey overlooking the street... Very noisy, to be avoided. Unreliable (slow) internet. Random but sufficient shower flow.

we would not stay here again - needs maintenance
Beautiful swimming pool, courteous staff, good care of the vegetation. But of course that alone is not enough.
No, we would not go back. A simple hotel would be fine but this is sub-standard for families: stained and torn towels, ants in the room, old mattresses in the corridors, balconies that can't close, rusty equipment in the gym. More generally we note that the structure needs maintenance. But that is obviously not a priority.

I would gladly return
the staff are incredibly friendly. we were even able to change rooms for 2 nights at the opium hotel with a view of the swimming pool. it would have been nice to mention that the services (gym, swimming pool, restaurant are part of the Opium hotel which is a higher class

Nice staff, difficult rest
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location, close to cafes, laundromat and 7/11. room big.
We emailed one night ahead and said we would be arriving around midnight. When we arrived our room was given to someone else. We waited 30 minutes and were given an alternative at the associated hotel. The room was totally damp, the bed linen was dirty and damp, mold in the bathroom, all in all disgusting and we felt like we didn't sleep a second. Luckily we didn't have to pay for the night either. The next afternoon we were able to change to our booked room. It was ok for the price but nothing more. We also sleep on a hard bed at home, but this was like sleeping on the floor. However, the worst thing was the strong iron smell of the water in the bathroom. Has overcome cost to use the shower. Hot water only sporadically. Towels and sheets worn and stained. Apartment building very noisy.

Big room, nice pool.
Nice pool, good breakfast!
Bad to find. We were looking for 'the odyssey' but apparently it falls under the name 'the Opium' so we couldn't find it at first.

lovely big room with a seat so we can both work at the table on the laptop. the bedroom had plenty of storage space. nice pool and relaxing gym! The staff were very friendly. cleaning came every day (+ new water and coffee every day). very nice atmosphere
The floor in the room was very, very dirty, it had not been washed for a long time! We had blackened feet when we took a few steps around the room without shoes :( otherwise clean! lots of mosquitoes, but the hotel has a special service for this; so this has been fixed. a bit from the center, a scooter is recommended (rent a scooter is better in Zippy it's much cheaper than a hotel.)

That was great
everything was perfect, helpful staff, great value for money, near the market to discover local dishes, all amenities available
lots of mosquitoes maybe citronella candles or something to scare or kill them would be nice otherwise nothing to complain about

Never ever
There were two bottles of water daily.
Dirty dishes upon arrival Mold on the shower curtain Very dirty floor, not washed despite our requests. Below is what our baby's feet looked like when he crawled across the floor. The breakfast is not good. The apartment urgently needs renovation. Strange old smell everywhere

It was not a bad accommodation for the price.
Location and price of accommodation
It was on the side of the road, so there was a lot of noise from motorcycles and vehicles. The facility is old, but ok, but poorly maintained. The terrace was not cleaned and could not be used due to dust.

Simple room in a central location
Good location, very central. The staff are very professional and helpful, the service is excellent!
The pool and gym area is under construction, so it's very weak at the moment. Room and balcony furniture is not comfortable.

Suitable for long stay
Very spacious studio with living room, kitchen and separate bedroom. There is also a small swimming pool in the courtyard. Late arrival in Chiang Mai and booked this hotel at the last minute. Finally, it was a good choice. Only downside: if the evening staff were charming, they were a little less friendly the next morning, but generally friendly, and that made us discover the new area of Chiang Mai.

I like the simple design of the room and the garden. Not suitable for those who prefer luxurious rooms.
There is a gap in the window on the garden side, so it is better to fix it. (^^)

Great hotel with lots of options!
The service was very good. We got good clear explanations when we had questions at the front desk.
The hotel is far from the real center. The pool was a bit late, was covered with some kind of tarp.

The check-in experience is great, the hotel is quiet and clean, the hotel service is also great, and the facilities are complete.
The price is affordable and the hotel service is very good.

The price-quality ratio is correct!
The staff is very nice and helpful, everyone speaks good English. The rooms are very large. For being in the city, the area is very nice and green. The value for money is really very good.
The water in the pool is quite murky and slightly polluted in places. In general, the complex is a little old in places and not as chic as in the pictures. You can forgive that for the price, but overall we were very pleased.
