It's all getting old. The suite that we had booked is also showing its age and not everything works anymore, but nothing serious that you don't feel comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very well arranged and there is always a queue at the too few and too slow coffee machines.

Shuttle to and from airport/pier is way overpriced and should be included in this category.

The bungalow needs some maintenance as well as the fitness. There are switches, lights, air conditioners and sockets that don't work. Really didn't see anything wild throughout.

Tiny minus .... at 7.30 am 85% of the sunbeds are already with a towel, but no one to be seen. I don't like that very much, but they allow it

We had a Royal Beachfront Suite with Gazebo. Unfortunately, we almost couldn't use it because at high tide the waves crashed directly into the wall and splashed the pavilion meters high. The beach only existed at low tide and was still unsuitable for lying because hundreds of tourists walked by. Also, there were no beach chairs. The two pools are quite large, but at times it was like a kindergarten pool. Often 10-15 children jump in, make noise, throw stones. But adults were also very noisy and even beer bottles were cleaned with pool water.

Mosquitoes everywhere and the lack of towels.

Little to no beach. At checkout, a rude manager called us. With the exuberance of friendliness of the other employees that was a small drop of bitterness.

Unfortunately very noisy at the pool, since many families with children stay there. There are also too few loungers by the pool, which are also occupied/reserved with towels every morning. Breakfast could be more varied, but it is ok.

It's all getting a bit old and could do with a renovation 👍 you can also hear quite a lot in the room from outside (i.e. airplanes because the airport is right nearby, then there is a kind of bird that squeaks very loudly in of the night 🤦🏻‍♂️ so if you want to sleep peacefully, get earplugs, and last but not least the smell in the rooms is a bit reminiscent of rot, but there are good-smelling candles for that 🙏🙏

We took the room on the sea and it really doesn't justify the price we paid, the room was suffocated with moisture and in addition they didn't come to clean our room until 4 pm when I called and asked them to come

The only downside of the place which is not their fault is the mosquitoes (this is not something that everyone will suffer from because it depends on how much you are loved by the mosquitoes) but those who like them like me they just tear you apart anywhere breakfast or at the pool and at any time despite sprays

Had booked a premier room but was very disappointed. Worn and sad. Switched to a room that was actually cheaper but didn't get any money back. But the room was fresher

We found that the staff spoke very poor English (which is of course not very surprising in a country where English is not the official language, but they pretended that they all understood you perfectly and that caused quite a bit of confusion during our holiday). A good example is when we made a reservation for the "expensive" romantic dinner on the beach. Our reservation turned out to be wrong, so we didn't get what we paid for. That was neatly solved because we had to pay less, but our romantic evening was less. So keep that in mind when you arrange something in the hotel. It was really a great hotel, but I would eat somewhere else in Chaweng and for this price I think you can get better and "nicer" hotels.

We had booked the most expensive room, the Spa villa deluxe. Although it looked nice. it was very dirty. mold on the toilet (seat) curtains and in the shower. the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in months. The bath (the beautiful outdoor bath why we booked this room) and coffee maker are not. :( we reported this to the reception, but unfortunately we did not receive any compensation or no other room. It was only indicated that housekeeping would look at hygiene. After this, only the mold of the toilet butler was removed.

We got a very small room. There was constantly high humidity (wet bedding) in the room and the air conditioner did not work well. Either it was frozen or it stopped cooling. After a few days we discovered a leak in the room. They moved us at night to another room that was bigger and we stayed there. Cleanliness needs improvement. There isn't really a stretch of beach for the hotel.

The room is very outdated. We took a spa villa and there is a significant gap between the pictures and the reality. The toilet seat was yellow because it was old, as well as all the furniture in the room in an old fashioned style. The TV is very old (not smart) that does not allow connection to Netflix and is even connected to DVD!

We stayed here for our honeymoon vacation and were disappointed with this hotel from the start. Upon check-in, our luggage was taken to the room by a grumpy and unpleasant member of staff. When we entered the room, 2 aggressive mosquitoes were already waiting for us inside, which is why we were bitten several times. In addition, a large disgusting cockroach ran around the room. The next day we discovered a second cockroach. A gecko had made itself comfortable on the ceiling. In complete contrast to us, cosiness was out of the question with these animals in our room. We were desperate, it was going to be the most enjoyable part of our honeymoon. We considered leaving the hotel immediately but we had paid a lot of money which was non-refundable if we canceled. So we stayed the rest of the days. We didn't like the following points: - the private whirlpool needed 2-3 hours to be filled. You don't want to wait that long if you spontaneously want to use the whirlpool. - the staff seemed to us unmotivated and listless. Some staff at the reception speak very incomprehensible English. - the facility needs a refresh. Most of the time it doesn't look like the photos, but that's the case with most hotels. For example, the toilet seat in the bathroom was yellowed and the technology for operating the "please make the room/don't disturb" light was defective. The air conditioning vent in the room is damaged and probably covered with mold (see photo). The shops next to the reception (in the hotel) are non-existent.

The staff ruined the whole service, so no matter how good the hotel is the staff will make you regret coming there.

The breakfast had little variety. At least the fruit could have been changed. There were mostly too few beach towels.

Reception at reception. They were not nice at all Only the reception staff! The pool staff was excellent.

The breakfast staff could be more attentive. Unfortunately we had to ask for coffee several times.

The check-in was very long

You can't go into the depth of the water, but you can take a dip or take a sap / cake, which is a nice option

There was a private event and they didn't let you use the beach access pool in the afternoon.

The room is very old, needs to be renovated, there is stagnant water on the beach and does not cover it, you need to walk 10 minutes to a good bath. Suspense price quality.

- High price for hotel accommodation. - Compared to other hotels, this hotel seemed "massive". Pretty busy, but it's personal. - The beach is very narrow and not really for swimming. Very shallow .... Beautiful for the overall picture, but no one is visible in the sea.

There were a bit more small children in the hotel than we expected when we booked the hotel for our honeymoon. However, it did not spoil our positive experience.

incompetent and rude front desk staff. allows himself to laugh... when asked for a favor. The Booking.com update was overlooked, we were put in a room overlooking the wall.

Mosquito! Really a lot of mosquitoes. The hotel really should do something. Many more mosquitoes than elsewhere in Thailand. The pictures of the Grand Premier Family Suite do NOT correspond to reality. We were very disappointed. Fortunately, the man from the reception was able to help us, so we were upgraded to a royal suite. It was really nice. The beach is not so nice right here.

The noise and chaos created by the Israeli clientele who cannot behave properly both at the table and in the common areas - the management's choice to welcome the majority of this nationality is disastrous and only the end of the hotel's reputation.

The children's playroom was in disarray and many things were broken. You could put a little more effort into this. Some guests were very uncomfortable (noisy, rude to staff)

The welcome was not as warm as we are used to in Thailand. We had to fill out the entire list with our details and then immediately pay the full amount of the stay, which is not so nice when you've just arrived. Our kids and us rooms were not at all close to each other as I had explicitly requested because apparently I had booked 1 more expensive room and it was in the other wing. I thought they should have given me the right advice beforehand, but they didn't because they preferred to sell a more expensive room than a cheap one, that's what they said themselves. We didn't like the expensive room at all because it was very dark and didn't have a good view, while ours, which was less expensive, had a much nicer location (next to the pool) and seemed much newer. (The expensive room had a jacuzzi bath and that turned out to be reason enough for a much higher price.) You also pay +-€70,-/night extra for an extra bed in the room (3 children) while they only do a seat with a thin and very hard mattress as a bed. They eventually offered us another kids room, much closer to us, which was at least 10 times better than the first one, seemed more spacious, and had a balcony overlooking the pool! Oddly enough, this room was cheaper (downgrade) than the one we paid for, but of course we were not refunded, not even a drink at the bar as a gesture or something, and we think that - from advertising. the point of view is really a missed opportunity for a hotel like this... Also, the "cleaning standard" didn't seem to be that high for the rooms. The glass work table was still covered in greasy stains from previous occupants, as were the glass doors, shower walls, mirrors, faucets, etc. Unfortunately, the room certainly didn't feel "clean" even though the garden and all rooms, however, they are in good condition.

The children's playroom is a little disappointing, but not crippling. A bit of Israeliness.

The reception was late in checking in, and their mood is not good. When checking out, there are no employees. I had to carry the luggage. I had to carry it myself.

Everything! A disgusting room, a jacuzzi that even if we turn on the water two hours before it won't fill up! There is no darkness in the room and the air conditioner did not stop making noise! Disgusting service and expensive and disgusting restaurant! Really not worth the price we paid! The gymboree was messy and not inviting at all!

At check-in we waited almost half an hour until the room was ready and in the heat and humidity of Thailand after a flight it was a bit discouraging.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the breakfast. There was no choice and the quality of the food was not very good. There was no cheese, no sausage, no other cold cuts, only a small selection of hot dishes, salad, toast, an egg station and 3 types of jam. Looking back, it would have been better if we hadn't ordered breakfast and had breakfast elsewhere. The bar had a few employees but no service. The towels were always empty. The sun loungers were always reserved although it was not allowed but not removed either. At one point there were towels everywhere and you didn't know if the place was occupied. There were a lot of mosquitoes due to the large garden, including in the room. The sockets didn't work properly and the wifi in the room was poor. However, during the interview, the wireless LAN was ideal. Due to the pandemic, one of the hotel's two restaurants was closed. In general, the price-quality ratio is not right here. Stayed in much cheaper hotels with a higher level of service and quality. Thought Regent Chaweng would be an update to what we know. This disappointed us.

Service, cold water, breakfast is good, but often stuff.

The beach has changed, so it's far from downtown. The tour desk is poor, there is no advice, and the staff's hospitality is a problem.

when booking we were told that the person spoke French at the reception, this was not the case. we noticed that people outside the hotel were using the sun loungers, pool and towels and no one told them anything. We believe that for the price we paid, this is unacceptable. We had to book an extra night after a flight cancellation, staying 17 nights, we were charged full price for the extra night, we were hoping for a commercial gesture from the establishment.

You should make sure that the room is not too far from the beach and pools, otherwise the feeling will be a little lost.

The craze for reserving sun loungers has spread all over the place. The staff is too friendly to follow house rules - reserved sunbeds should be cleared here. But this is done too indecisively. As a result, too many sunbeds remain completely unoccupied for hours - other vacationers are desperately looking for an empty seat! Strange attitude of guests!! The DJ at the New Year's party was in great shape for Tecno (not trance). Unfortunately not for other styles. The vast majority of the audience couldn't do anything about it, but the lady DJ didn't know it or couldn't change it. Otherwise New Year's Eve and Christmas there were great!

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were a little embarrassed, because upon check-in we were sold all kinds of products. We were also immediately offered an upgrade (for a fee, of course). Even when booked for breakfast, the first 2 days we were given all sorts of deals on the spa and other amenities. We also found that most of the staff speaks little to moderate English (with a few exceptions). This was our only criticism because otherwise this is simply the best hotel.

They brought us fruit to the room, the whole dresser was full of ants because of the fruit, we mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon and they didn't do anything about it, the air conditioner was leaking but they fixed it.

The room was obviously outdated and the air con didn't work properly on arrival either. Price-quality is not balanced. You can also hear music from the nightlife in the place until the early hours of the morning. If you are sensitive to this, it is better to sleep in another part of the island. Also a small comment: the mini bar was free but it was very small and the hotel didn't want to refill it a second time in one day.
