The staff is really nice and super helpful! The hostel also has a great lounge where you can always find someone to chat with. Be it guests or staff :) The equipment is very minimalist, but also unusual and very stylish. The rooms are made of containers and the mentioned lounge is a huge hall with partly open sides. Very cosy, inviting and something different.
The 4-bed rooms are quite small and need a bit of repair here and there. But the hostel is very clean and socializing is very much the focus here. So you don't spend much time in the room anyway.
Well at the hostel, we found two super nice ladies at the front desk who really tried to take care of us! In addition, the location in the Fisherman's Village is great (15 minutes walk) and the lounge with bar, TV and billiards is nicely decorated.
After we checked in to the first room we found a very bad smell, completely musty and moldy. After we asked for another room, a nice lady gave us one that smelled a little better. Look at the photos for cleanliness, only the lowest level. In general, the whole room was completely run down and abandoned. Some items have not been used for a long time. With a price of 70€, it's outrageous to rent something like this. This was by far the worst accommodation on our 4 week trip to Thailand and unfortunately far from the cheapest.
Very nice hostel with pool and very nice staff. Large seating area.
Unfortunately the bathroom was a little dirty and the beds a little sagging.
The people who work clean the bathrooms, the pool and the food they sell inside
Part size
Good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Swimming pool and nice "social area" with a bar. Great location, scooter recommended. Good prices for food in the bar/restaurant.
It was pretty quiet so there wasn't much activity around the bar. This shouldn't be a big problem, but it can be fun to get to know people.
Very comfortable beds. Spacious hostel, fresh water pool and good atmosphere. In general, everything looks new and comfortable. in 10 min. From the beach on foot.
The bathrooms could be cleaner and more well maintained and the lighting is not very good.
The team is great and so is the environment.
Shower could be improved
- very friendly staff - comfortable beds - Swimming pool - Air conditioning - delicious nearby cafe KOB
- the rooms are really very small - there is no toilet on the toilet: not very convenient when you sit down - 13 min from the city on foot and at night you have to go down a dark alley: not dangerous, but still a bit scary with stray dogs
Friendly place, clean pool and places, lovely staff
I only spent one night there, it was very good
swimming pool, music, bar, menu choice in the restaurant, dishes are very good and inexpensive, cats and dogs walk :)
no breakfast - shame, there is a place next door where you can have a very good breakfast, but quite expensive for everyone (e.g. 150 THB for squeezed orange juice)
Very nice facility built from shipping containers (very unusual) and very nice and polite staff. Good prices for drinks at the hostel bar.
Strong indoor odor (humidity)
The value for money is one of the best in my life.
Samui Us Hostel is a very good value hostel. the staff was always very courteous, courteous and helpful. The cuisine offered at this hotel is also commendable, whether you prefer Thai or Western cuisine. Unfortunately, I can't say that much about the general atmosphere in the hostel because I was there during the Corona virus and the hostel was pretty empty.
If you're looking for a hostel right by the sea, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. Samui Us Hostel is close to the beach, but the famous Fisherman's Village is a 5 to 10 minute walk.
I can only recommend this hotel! Very warm welcome, friendly staff, helpful and very pleasant, in fact. The place is beautiful, innovative, inventive, great pool and I slept in a hostel. A little out of the way, but on a scooter.... Close to the fishing village, great! Very satisfied with my two nights
RAS
The hostel was a dream. The pool as well as the lobby felt more like a hotel than a hostel and the bar prices were perfectly fair! In any case, it's beautiful.
The room was a bit small but absolutely ok for the price! The hostel might not be great for dating, although I was lucky.
Good vibes, food always comes in handy, and a perfect pool! Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've been to 😊
pool Its rules to be no shoes Very nice staff/reception Its value for money.
The hotel is a little isolated, but it is very nice to stay in silence. The fishing village is a bit away from the hotel (but by scooter = TOP) Would have liked a bit more powerful lighting. Lack of shelves for things.
Wifi was very good, very friendly staff, the hostel has its own restaurant for breakfast and other meals, very modern and stylish atmosphere, uncomplicated lending v. Scooters are available (200 baht). We were there quite early before the actual check in time but still managed to get straight to the room.
The hostel asks to go barefoot, which is unusual at first, but not bad, because everything is very clean. The road to the hostel takes some getting used to as it is not very well lit in the dark and there are really a lot of dogs running around (they do not harm you, but maybe they are inconvenient for someone).
Great and friendly staff to help with any request. I felt very good :)
There is nothing to say here!
Nice staff Great pool Nice living room that is really used
There were two of us in a 4-bed room. It was great but would be too small for 4 people.
Rooms and bathrooms are very clean.
Hospitable staff and everything could be arranged at the hostel: scooter, tours and transfers. The hostel has a lovely pool and is very relaxing. As a tourist, it gave me a holiday feeling.
The beds were very hard.
Ecological architecture, staff, cleanliness, 9 charming cats of all stripes, administrators.
Noise: We don't like being on holiday and listening to the atmosphere, the sounds of the TV that dominate the lobby every evening. Distance from the beach and dangerous traffic to get there, no sidewalk.
