very friendly and helpful staff, cozy and compact, clean, lovely swimming pool, air conditioning in the lobby, restaurants and park within walking distance…. nicely painted and well maintained, modern bathroom. wonderful beds.
the weather was a bit too hot…. the shower did not drain well….
Brilliant location, quiet (if you don't have a window facing the street), many sights within walking distance. Moderate but very tasty breakfast. Top staff.
first room faced the street and noisy, change no problem at all. Drains in the showers a bit lame :)
the treatment of all the staff and especially Susie. very good5 stars
The only thing that is inevitable in the center of the city is that there is misery around it. but the hotel is fantastic
a big congratulations because really top as a hotel and the super nice staff
nothing
A quiet and compact hotel in the old town. The staff are all very kind and gentle. Wat Po is also within walking distance. There are many restaurants around. it's recommended.
nothing special.
The calm. the rooms the friendliness of the staff
I stayed 3 days on arrival perfect. I had to go back there in disaster after an accident 2 nights while waiting for my repatriation. I didn't really appreciate having to pay 4950 mb to be able to stay in a room until departure in the evening when I was immobilized by a broken knee...
Perfect staff Very good location To recommend
nothing
spacious and well-equipped rooms excellent king size bed in premium room
Everything was very nice, the staff very friendly.
The only negative point: the water temperature in the shower cannot be controlled, you can set what you want, it changes constantly.
small comfortable hotel
Windows don't open, no ventilation. Some of the workers are downright rude. the fitness room is small.
The clients have not pointed out anything especially good in the hotel, although they have not complained either.
It was very difficult to get to pay for the hotel from Europe. Mandatorily the payment had to be made on arrival or make a transfer. That was not what was stated in the initial reservation. As a travel agency, this was a real problem.
the geographical location in the center, and both the calm of the neighborhood friendliness of the staff taxi service at 500 baht to go to the airport in a very comfortable car
Hotel with a history, but this old building has lost much of its character through a renovation that uses a lot of PVC... We couldn't open our bedroom window. The pool water is cold, it is never in the sun (in a small courtyard on the ground floor) We didn't have breakfast because it was expensive (about 12€) and the drinks are expensive too.
location, breakfast, room
compared to other Relais&Châteaux this property seems a bit weaker
in a good condition
The restaurant was closed
Very friendly staff, courteous and helpful! Large rooms and great facilities including a bathrobe, towels for the pool, slippers, shampoo, body lotion, toothbrush and more! The location is not in the center but perfect for those who like to explore a bit on their own. Chinatown nearby and a lot of temples.
stylish interior, clean rooms, location
I can't say that I didn't like it at all, but the breakfast is mediocre. the choice is not really big. the water in the room tastes like it's from the tap, so it's better to buy bottled in the store.
One of the best hotels we have been in Bangkok. It is a beautiful and super new hotel and the attention from the incredible staff. Hotel of 10 with breakfast of 10.
I loved everything.
The hotel has a perfect location for exploring the old town - if you're fed up with the high-rise buildings and shopping malls, you can walk between temples and small alleys (there are sooo many, you just have to dare). The well-known sights such as Wat Pho, the palace, Arun, etc. are also within walking distance. There is also a park opposite if you need to go jogging in the 92% humidity ;) Bangkok is noisy and Villa De Pranakorn is quiet, the staff are very attentive and extremely friendly! The rooms are large, spacious and clean. There are many restaurants and food stalls nearby. The breakfast is also very pleasant, really great service and you can recharge your batteries for the upcoming city tour. The security at the entrance of the driveway always kindly stopped the traffic for me to cross the street - so nice! I really enjoyed the stay. This will be my new home when I'm in Bangkok and I'm already looking forward to the next time! Big thanks to the team at Villa De Pranakorn!
The air conditioning is a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me personally because I usually only left it on for a short time. Would have liked to have had a glass of wine in peace in the evening, unfortunately the bar/restaurant is currently only open until 5pm.
The location is sensational. and thank you thank you thank you to Mr. Sun and his tips and advice. We will be back definitely.
Spacious and tidy.
All was good. No complaints
very friendly staff 👍
we liked everything 👏🏻
great food
Breakfast preparation takes too long
Very friendly staff
I have been staying in hotels that are members of the Relais & Chateaux association for over 10 years and I was misled by the hotel's participation in this association. In terms of cuisine, wine list and the quality of the premises, this hotel does not correspond to the hotels that are members of the Relais & Chateaux association. Rooms have poor ventilation and water problems. It was my first time in Bangkok and I cannot compare this hotel with others, but in my opinion the hotel corresponds to three stars in the international hotel rating.
Very courteous and nice staff, very clean, help was always offered. We were completely satisfied!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant, especially the breakfast, is very tasty. We experienced the hotel as a quiet and beautiful place in Bangkok and would come back anytime.
Shower water pressure
The room was huge. The staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel was very convenient for sightseeing on foot.
I don't know they can open the windows. The room was not cleaned every day.
Attentive staff, smiling despite the masks, adorable and always giving good advice. This hotel is beautiful, the room very spacious, air-conditioned. A breakfast by the pool which is very generous and the dishes are neat and delicious. The central location with the Sam Yot station nearby and an unmissable restaurant that serves delicious pad Thai 5 min. I will come back with pleasure.
Nothing.
Great location, close to historical sites that are easy to visit. Staff available and welcoming.
Complex regulation of the temperature and the flow of the shower.
the location is very convenient to visit the old area of the capital and china town
All in all it was the most disappointing accommodation of the entire trip. We trusted the guarantee that being an establishment attached to Relais Chateaux offered us and it was not up to the task at all. The first day they had to change our room because the hot water in the shower did not work. The second day the à la carte breakfast was a real nonsense, poorly organized, slow, without coordination in the arrival of the food... When we asked about it, they argued that they were training the staff and that was why they had so many mistakes. Some of the people who collected the breakfast orders did not understand English well, which caused multiple confusions in what was finally served on the tables. Before the request for drinking water, without clarifying anything to the customer, they served bottled water that they later tried to charge in addition to the breakfast already paid for and previously reserved. In the bathroom there were bad odors due to deficiencies in the plumbing installation and finally, on the last day, there were no towels in the room. At our request to their reception, and thus be able to shower, they told us that they had a problem with the provider of the towels and that they could not provide them until 7:30 p.m., which in practice prevented them from being able to shower or use the sink in the room. All these deficiencies are hardly understandable in an establishment that claims to be a 5-star category and belongs to the Relais Chateaux chain. It does not live up to both announcements at all and the strange thing is that the Relais Chateaux chain itself has not taken action on the matter because its philosophy and image is based, on the contrary, on attention to detail and exquisiteness. After this experience, I will be much more suspicious in the selection of Relais Chateaux hotels.
- order & cleanliness - very customer friendly - very nice breakfast (you can only take a 'main dish' (pancakes or eggs, for example) once. However, I never left the table hungry and I am not a small eater. - initially had a room where a disturbing sound could be heard from an alarm. After reporting this, it was immediately proposed to change rooms.

The staff was very helpful; at any time the staff was very helpful; at any time
the staff is very kind. that's the only thing
impossible to shower. the heat of the water is impossible to regulate. either too cold or hot. in cold water more pressure. towels not picked up the first day
very stylish and comfortable
no window in the room can be opened. one is dependent on the air conditioning
A perfect hotel to explore the old town on foot. The subway is also nearby if you want to explore other parts of the city. The personaö was extremely attentive & helpful.
The air conditioner is a bit noisy.
Everything was great: very helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable mattress and nice pool. A place to relax in the big city. Top location: Park nearby, 7 minutes to Metro Sam Yot, 15 minutes to the Grand Palace.
nice room but I didn't like the location and the lobby
Beautiful room, very new and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has very nice accessories (shower gel, toilet set, toothbrush, etc.). There is everything you need from a hair dryer to an ironing board.
The air conditioner is very loud, even on the lowest setting. Sometimes through the ventilation you can hear the noise from outside. The warm / cold water setting is very capricious and is in the millimeter range. Water usually spontaneously changes from hot to cold and vice versa.
The hotel is excellent and very conveniently located to walk to different parts of the city. Very comfortable rooms and impressive bed, size, comfort The hotel is very clean and very comfortable. I recommend this hotel
Any
Very clean and had good facilities. The staff were very friendly and helped us with some questions. I think the location was great, you can walk to the subway and it's very easy to get anywhere from there. So far we have had 3 hotels in Thailand and this was the best one. I would go there again anytime.
The air conditioner was very loud but that was the only thing that bothered us.
Clean, stylish, central hotel with fantastic service, very comfortable rooms and an exquisite breakfast. Definitely a hotel we will return to next time we visit Bangkok.
It took a lot of thinking to find a negative point, but maybe I would say that sometimes the temperature of the water in the shower was not quite constant.
location and historical appearance of the premises
decoration could be more authentic and sometimes less kitsch :)
good location, renovated hotel, nice lobby, comfortable beds
lack of cleanliness of the toilets, the pool is not very clean, expensive for services. not at the level of the castle relay
We spent the first nights of our trip in this hotel sleeping. We liked it so much that we also slept here last night before we left. This is a lovely hotel close to everything in Bangkok but you don't notice the hustle and bustle in your room. In addition, you can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and have a fantastic breakfast. You have a good rest here! We were also allowed to use luggage storage while we were already checked out, for now if we wanted to. The staff will help you with everything to recommending the next hotel or arranging a taxi, great!

Large spacious rooms, without the characteristic BKK smell of damp. A wonderful experience. Been twice, will definitely be back!
Nicely decorated hotel. Very friendly staff. Personal care, you feel welcome.
On the 4th floor, very weak water pressure in the shower.
The location was excellent. Less than half an hour walk from Khaosan Road and therefore close to the big palace and the reclining Buddha. The staff is very friendly (not too). The lady at the front desk helped me on arrival with a tuk tuk driver who was trying to scam me. Check out time is 12:00 but they didn't mind if I came back a bit late from the morning program and then used the pool for a while until I left for my next destination. At the pool they gave me (free) drinking water. Super pool!
Nothing
great hotel and super clean
The hotel is cozy, the staff is friendly. Cozy bed.
Breakfast is not terrible at all and overpriced, scrambled eggs with spinach and sauce not the best, not very expected for us for breakfast, no toast, chemical fruit juice and a small glass…
The hotel is fantastic, the location is second to none and the staff are charming and always ready to help. I would repeat without a doubt i.e. no breakfast as I see it a bit sparse compared to other hotels. The rest is 10.
Breakfast
well located and very comfortable
the decor is sometimes kitsch
Excellent location, very sensitive and efficient staff, very large and comfortable room. The hotel is located in the city center with easy access to all the attractions of Bangkok by tuk-tuk or taxi.
A bit of a nuisance from street noise, but it was tolerable.
Delicious, clean, first class staff, fantastic breakfast… everything was perfect!
nothing
The price is just right, it's boring, and the location is really good. There are also many restaurants around.
- swimming pool - gym - breakfast - equipment in the rooms
- lack of air conditioners in common areas - Too noisy air conditioner in bedrooms - pillow too hard and big - No advice on activities in particular to warn us that the Royal Palace is closed for celebrations
Great location for visiting Chinatown and 3 temples. Large room with good facilities. Good breakfast menu. Very friendly and helpful staff.
You must leave a security deposit, which must be in cash. They should let you use the card and block that amount like other hotels.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and arranged a lot for us. the beds were wonderful
Very good hotel, well located in the old quarter of Bangkok. There is a metro station within walking distance. Very good breakfast served at the table. Swimming pool at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Too modern for our taste. We would have preferred thai style the staff is caring
Small apartment, the air conditioning in the room is very noisy, which makes it difficult to sleep.
The staff team is great and the cleanliness is impeccable! I thank Edison and Susie for the warm welcome. The problem is that taxis don't know the name of the hotel, the name of the street, or the tuketuk... And the pool is too small for me, who swims every morning 😂 I recommend everyone to come to this nice, quiet and warm hotel!
Maybe without coconut juice! ☺️
Very friendly staff!
Really nothing!
hygiene, friendliness, bed. An oasis in a busy city highly recommended
nothing, oh yes, there was no coffee creamer in the room
Cool room, clean, comfortable, excellent shower and bath in the middle of the room! I really do not advise buying purple flowers and throwing them on the bed 😂😂😂 (like in the movies), in general, the duvet cover could not be saved, I had to compensate 😅 The location is excellent - close to all attractions, super friendly staff
the window did not open, a beautiful balcony, a nice area of the city center outside the window, but you can’t open it. perhaps this is so that the air conditioners do not break, but still 😅
Breakfast wasn't bad either. The hotel is very close to the interesting tourist attractions in Bangkok, You can walk or take a bus to the famous temples in Bangkok.
New and beautiful hotel. But there are a few things I don't like about the hotel. A beautiful iconic ***** hotel shouldn't be 01-use tissue paper in guest room with toilet paper 02-don't use free drinking water with water in the Big Bottle to put in each small bottle in the room for guests to drink, because I think two bottles of water a day is only worth 1$, so the hotel should note this this is better. 03- The hotel should improve 1/2 small tea sachet in the room for guests because it doesn't cost too much. So the hotel is a ***** hotel, in my opinion it is necessary to improve these things to be worthy of the title of ***** of the hotel.
Kindness of staff Proximity to attractions (Grand Palais, Wat Photo, Chinatown) Comfort and aesthetics of rooms and hotel Super bedding with king size bed Cleanliness Pool
The water in the shower is not very hot, fortunately it is hot in Bangkok. There is no buffet breakfast but that must be due to lack of tourists due to Covid. During our stay in Thailand, several hotels seemed to be empty.
A beautiful 5-star hotel in the heart of old Bangkok, within walking distance of Wat Saket and many attractions. The building has been recently renovated in a modern colonial style. Our spacious, fragrant suite is well insulated from street noise and equipped with every comfort. Very comfortable double beds, marble bathrooms, high quality toiletries and merchandise. A lovely pool to unwind after a day in hot and hectic Bangkok. Very young and professional staff, from the manager to all the guys in the team. Very pleasant breakfast as well as cocktails and all services in general. Special thanks to Mrs Yes for her suggestions and kindness !!!! BEST CHOICE IN BANGKOK !!
