Especially good food and swimming close to Mwanza
Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool, good restaurant with delicious food in a quiet location and yet close to the city. Nice balcony with a nice view.
The shower curtain was really dirty and the beds rock hard like you were lying on a board. Pulled out the refrigerator because of the enormous noise at night.

The ship "African Queen" lists slightly in the water. Something special for sleep. We were then able to change rooms the next day without any problems.

After 2 weeks of hard work in Sengerem, it's a pleasure to come home to Tilapia Hotel.
The room was fantastic! The lake view was really special. The garden by the lake and the restaurant always give me a good feeling, African and wide, where you can relax and enjoy. The cappuccino is delicious, as is the extensive international menu.
Breakfast this time was not good. I came at 8:30. There was no (or little) staff. Empty dishes, chapatis included and eaten sandwiches in a basket (by birds) and no yogurt. This time no one was ready to fry the eggs. It has to be random because it's usually just very well organized!

Very good value for money
Very comfortable and very clean hotel on the lake. Good quality restaurant. The bar and pool enhance the relaxation.

A comfortable hotel by Lake Victoria. Friendly staff. Good food but slow service.
Lots of fresh fruit and a nice chef who made omelettes to order.
Lack of good natural yogurt (the one that was available was not good).

Great location. More attention to the client from the kitchen is required.
Location right on the lake
More than 75 minutes of waiting for tilapia on the grill, where the fish is activated even without the garnish of mashed potatoes.

There is no trip to Tanzania without an overnight stay at the Tilapia hotel.
EVERYTHING, no trip to Tanzania without spending the night here. Fantastic location, individually decorated rooms in local style, good food. Everything is great here
