Outstanding breakfast
Wonderful breakfast! I had never seen a pancake or butter machine :)
You have to pay for flip flops because there are no slippers. Even if you want to use the sauna.

Great breakfast! Nice staff!
The garage was too narrow, had the rearmost parking space next to the SUV that was on the line, then had to back out because we couldn't turn in there and then had to park outside. Rooms a bit outdated and not very luxurious for the very high price. Wish I had a warmer indoor pool.

Overall it was great
The location was great. The room was ok, except for the pillows that needed to be changed. They were just worn out. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were good.
The staff at the reception didn't know enough, in the morning the reception was understaffed, three people were standing in line and only one PC was occupied. Long wait to check out even though we still wanted to go skiing.

Quiet, central location
Quiet and yet central location, modern room, rather small premium single room with good furniture, perfect lighting and various sockets (USB, etc.). Direct view of the mountain range around the Parpaner Rothorn (2865 m) from the balcony. The hotel has a large indoor pool and other spa facilities. A varied and delicious breakfast buffet is offered. Parking spaces can be reserved directly at the hotel before arrival (CHF 10.00 per night). It is worth booking in good time. There is also a lockable garage (CHF 15.00). This is not suitable for larger vehicles. A shuttle bus service to public car parks is also available whenever possible. There is a large ski and bike room for drying and storing sports equipment. Friendly and always helpful staff.

Our first time at the Sunstar was nice. Gladly again.
The size of the room, the reception, transfer to the parking lot and the uncomplicated and helpfulness for us as a family with small children. The great kitchen of Marc and his team. Was nice.
Actually nothing, except that at dinner and lunch the service was sometimes slow and everything didn't always work out right away. But...the team works and is friendly. So all in all tip top

Great breakfast buffet, beautiful pool with a movie, great relaxing music, nice staff, beautiful sauna area, beautiful rooms.
We wanted to stay 3 nights, unfortunately we were told 4 weeks before our short trip that the hotel was closing earlier. That's why we had to spend the third night in another hotel, which was a shame because we thought the Sunstar was great. Possibly also a problem because booked via E Booking and not directly.

A wonderful, relaxing experience that is definitely worth repeating.
The breakfast was sensational, the staff is above average attentive and efficient, the room layout is very good and the furniture in the house exudes a real feel-good atmosphere. Excellent design of the restaurant providing privacy. Particularly commendable: The mission of the house in relation to ecology, climate protection, etc. - Great offer with a discount on mountain railway tickets! We will definitely return and would happily recommend this home to others.
Linen Saver Suggestion: Guests should only ask for a bathrobe bag at the front desk when they need it. Place an appropriate notice in your room or present it at check-in. Cover the fruit bowl in the lobby with a cap (hygiene)

Gladly again
The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from the Heidsee. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and there is something for everyone, including SohaMilch or vegan food. Fresh TeaToTake is served every morning at the front desk, along with apples and pears, so you always have something to snack on. Directly opposite the Volga, which is open daily.
The shower gel and shampoo as well as the hotel's internal body lotions smell terrible, you could certainly find something better.

It was ok but not worth the money. Let's try something different next time.
The location was great. Parking in front of the hotel. Reception was also ok.
The rooms did not match the photos. Clamshells with a wide slit in the middle. The plumbing is very old. Breakfast was delivered before the stated time. Nothing for sleepers. Unfortunately, we, as beginners, were not recommended to the right place, so we found slides for beginners ourselves later. The value for money was far from it.

There are the best ski hotels at a steep price

the recreation room is not soundproofed next to the children's leisure pool and cannot be used as such. Something needs to be changed here URGENTLY, otherwise for this price you will not be able to offer a wellness area as such. The bathroom in the room is getting old and no longer relevant. Price/performance is not true. Sorry

The hotel itself is excellent, in communication with customers there is room for improvement.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The view from the balcony is amazing, the rooms are clean, the ski bus stops right in front of the hotel.
We were told before arrival that there would be no problem with parking in front of the hotel. In fact, the first question upon arrival was “Can I get the keys to your car? What kind of car do you have?” which may be efficient from a hotel point of view, but seems strange to the client at first. Moreover, the day before it was said that there would be no problems with parking. Car keys were handed over so it could be parked at any time - but after a day's skiing we had to get our luggage out of the car ourselves and carry it to our room even though the staff would have had access to the car all day. On the day of departure, we were also asked to bring our luggage and car with us, as many other guests were due to arrive.

We would not recommend this hotel and would not return ourselves.
The renovated hotel premises are good, the sauna is very nice and modern. Breakfast is also good, staff is friendly.
Standard rooms, 1-3 The floor is completely dated and the bathrooms are poorly equipped. We didn't expect this for the price and were disappointed accordingly.

The location of the hotel is ideal for short and long hikes, even without big climbs!

Some of the higher priced rooms expressly labeled "mountain view" have absolutely no mountain view, but there are 10 kitchen and toilet windows visible from the building next door. After the complaint, the answer came: you booked at such a short notice! So no price reduction!

Short and cool stay in a hotel where everything fits
Super friendly welcome at the front desk. There are no particular problems for the reception staff, even if the card does not work. Other hotels may learn from this. The service is also attentive and friendly and the food at Chämi Stübli is delicious. The breakfast is varied and varied and leaves nothing to be desired. The cozy wellness center features a tea, fruit and cracker bar. The location is central and the free sports bus will quickly take you anywhere in the ski area.

Great location and good wellness
On Sunday, a very tasty and large breakfast. On Monday the selection was a little less; but still great. A very nice new wellness center with a large relaxation room overlooking the mountains and the cross-country ski run. Attractive sauna with many showers. Large indoor swimming pool available from 07:00 to 22:00.
The cleaner/maintenance person was very noisy in the morning in the pool area and in the lounge area during the day. Personally not a fan of carpets in the rooms.

Very good and unforgettable stay.
I especially liked the location of the hotel, a balanced and varied breakfast, as well as access to the sauna and bath just for two. We also really liked that the cable car ticket could only be bought for 15 CHF. The large bike room, including a workshop and a washing area, also pleasantly surprised us.
The bed was too soft for us. (However, this is our personal feeling) No kettle in the room for tea or coffee.

Absolutely satisfactory
Premium room with a new concept and a large flat screen TV, as well as a beautiful large balcony for relaxing. Good food, always friendly and courteous staff despite being sold out. Rich and very well organized breakfast buffet. The refurbished rooms are absolutely great

Photos of the room are completely true. I chose this hotel based on photos of the rooms, refurbished and beautiful, but instead they put me in a 50 year old room. So payback is a scam. Then at breakfast, guests cut the bread by touching it with their hands (zero hygiene). When I kindly pointed out both to the staff, they practically laughed at me. This is the last place in Lenzerheide.

There are no reasonable single room accommodations for single travelers. CHF 190 per person is the upper limit.

This is not a criticism, but we would like to have dinner a few more times at the hotel, but without half board it was impossible a la carte (only with a "fixed" menu). A few more directions in Italian.

Good opportunity to return to Lenzerheide.
Very good food, rich breakfast, nice bar with the option to stay A little old room, but clean and good size with a seating area. Due to Corona, wellness has been somewhat limited in relation to the number of users allowed. The relaxation room is not soundproofed enough compared to the bathing pool. The hotel can be recommended!

Lovely breakfast buffet beautiful wellness area We celebrated my partner's birthday for us I used to be at the house in Lenzerheide for 20 years on a ski vacation and we went to sun star a few times to eat and I wanted to stay there, and we did it, it was great

Easy check-in even if you book on short notice in the evening and arrive 2 hours late, no long wait and also had something to eat (21:00 arrival). The staff is very friendly and attentive

The Sunstar Hotel is in a great location as it is the starting point for both Tgantieni and Rothorn, as the ski bus stops right in front of the house.
Again, there is no score due to the crown measures.

Very beautiful ski resort with well-groomed slopes. The hotel is highly recommended.
Very friendly staff and very good food. Numbers are taxed for years, but from 21 summer they will be gradually updated. The restaurants, bar and wellness center have already been renovated.

Very nice holiday, enjoyed staying on the hotel's own sun terrace.
Breakfast was great, very good coffee, huge buffet for all tastes. Dinner was great too, we rarely ate so well during the week.
The indoor pool cover did not match the atmosphere in the entire wellness area, it had come off the floor and was wrinkled.

More of a 3 star hotel than a 4 star.
The reception staff and the breakfast were excellent. Wellness and the bathrooms are worth the 4 stars. Unfortunately, that's all.
The hotel is very old. For and did not fit the price-performance ratio. 360.- for two in a rather old room with a carpet that is very old. Our room had a connecting door where you could hear the neighbors during a normal discussion. So very noisy. The recurring noises in the room which resembled a grinding machine and were very loud turned out to be the ventilation noise. This is not 4 star compliant. In the Rwstaurant we received tickets at 21.15, 15 minutes too late. We were a group of 9 and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner after night sledding. We were glad that we were allowed to eat a few minutes later. Only from then on was the ambience gone. The service forgot bread with the appetizers, rushed us with the food and when we complained that the food was spicy, but the waitress told us that she had eaten it and didn't think it was spicy. So no apologies and nothing. You would have to learn how to manage complaints again. The food was okay, but things were forgotten and the service was otherwise average. All in all for us a 3 star hotel which has a 4 star spa. We would not book it again because the expectations were not met.

We will stay at Sunstar again when we arrive in Lenzerheide.
The food at the hotel was very good and plentiful, the breakfast buffet was very varied. The staff were always very friendly.
That we were first placed in the wrong room. After we unpacked and installed everything ourselves, we had to move out again. Do not leave the trainee alone when guests arrive. The management apologized and the staff helped us a lot with packing our business.

Helpful staff
The breakfast was sufficient and had everything you could want in the morning. By evening, all my wishes were fulfilled, and when I was born, a surprise for dessert awaited me.
The only thing that bothered me was the bathroom door because of the toilet paper roll.

Cozy hotel for skiers and snowboarders
Fresh and very rich breakfast buffet, friendly staff, helpful staff at parking and lifting snow chains, very large wellness center with 4 different saunas, swimming pool and relaxation area with drinks and snacks.
Very clean room, unfortunately the beds are too small, the double beds were 2 single beds, the bathroom is a bit dated but clean!

I've known the Sunstar since 1972🤗 and now I feel like the holidays were like in my childhood. My husband, adult son and girlfriend also liked it. The hotel has not become a victim of modernization madness. It offers quality paired with comfort. The housekeeping staff responds to all requests 👍👍.
The only thing that could be improved is the menu, especially the veggie menu 😉

Spontaneously arriving at this hotel is not a good idea
- Service in the a la carte restaurant was very courteous and focused on the well-being of the guests. We felt very comfortable. - Breakfast buffet was very good! Great selection, this makes "eating breakfast" fun!
- Reception staff were not hospitable and unhelpful - no alternatives or ideas for guests who didn't have the right clothes for dinner with them. This hotel is definitely not suitable for spontaneous arrivals. - "Guest is king" is not lived by the reception staff. A pity. - in the morning at about half past 11 the new guests of our room were already standing in our room! We hadn't checked out yet! It is not clear to us why they have already received the badge! It definitely shouldn't be!

The breakfast was great! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel.
The sauna area is good, but there are far too few loungers to relax a bit after the sauna. Unfortunately, most of them were occupied.

Exceptional, but not only at the hotel. Lenzerheide is splendid.
The size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, the swimming pool/sauna, the location. Exceptional breakfast buffet.
If I had any comments to make, I would say that the possibility of making coffee/tea in the room is perhaps lacking. The staff does not speak French, but that does not detract from the charm of the hotel!

The swimming pool and sauna at the end of a sports day will be a pleasure for body and soul, all the staff are very kind and helpful, the breakfast is more than plentiful, the room is cozy and clean.

Great location because it's close to everything but in a quiet area. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Good and comfortable rooms. Great cleaning! Very nice staff! Pool then show!

The friendliness of the staff despite the language barrier. The dinner buffet is very plentiful and of excellent quality, as is the breakfast.

Room with carpet is not at all No sockets in the room, only one in the bathroom No paper towels in the bathroom No information from the hotel offer in the room breakfast offer poor, not worthy of 4 stars Coffee cream: Use by date exceeded At self-service was only A coffee machine for 50 guests, not enough Long waiting times, also at the egg station Egg dishes or the bacon in the bain-marie were no longer edible, smelled bad?? After checking out we had to wait 1/2 hour because our car was locked by another. ??? Lack of parking.

Rooms too narrow and uncomfortable
Indoor pool and breakfast buffet o.k.
The room (single room Nova) was too narrow and very uncomfortable, although on the internet it was given as 19 m2, the living space is only about 10 m2. The bathroom was just as cramped. No evening sun, as it faces east (the hotel does not have a single room facing west with evening sun, which I see as a disadvantage for those traveling alone.)

Other than the weather, everything was perfect.
Good breakfast buffet and very good cuisine. Great bike room with the possibility to fix and check the bike. Good wellness center. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good hotel in a great location
Despite the old furniture, it is very clean here! Polite staff. The location with the free sports bus is of course perfect. The free mini bar replenished daily is exceptionally good. Breakfast buffet fresh large selection. Free apples at the reception. Good preparation for disinfectants due to the current corona virus.
Unfortunately the beds were too soft. For young and old. The furniture in the room is relatively in need of refurbishment. Unfortunately the lift is a little dated and very slow.

Very nice place
Top location, mountain railways can be reached by shuttle bus or on foot. Ice rink and village center in the immediate vicinity.
The rooms have been partially modernized but are still carpeted and appear dated. The breakfast area seems a bit crowded. The staff tries to be friendly but seems stressed. Sometimes long waiting times at the bar until you are served somewhat reluctantly. Overall not a 4 star experience but certainly not bad either.

Great location, great for families with small children Buffet breakfast with everything and until 10:30 Staff in different age groups, great and bravo. Very hardworking employees

In general, we were satisfied.
Large and varied buffet, excellent.
Not enough parking spaces. There was no way to store materials upon arrival and departure if you wanted to spend a day in the city.

A forest inhabited by squirrels, a calm and warm resort: the perfect option to recharge your batteries!
Warm and typical decor. Hearty breakfast with local products. Nice bed
The pool could be improved (but I have seen work being done). You have to go out of the sauna and hammam to rest: it's very crowded...

Great snowboarding experience
The hotel has a lot to offer that is not in the description. The ski room is the best I have ever used. Plenty of boot warmers, plenty of space for boards and skis, a workbench with tools so you can polish yourself. The minibar in the room was included and the breakfast was very good. Good staff.
The room was too hot even though the heater was off. Two heating pipes in the bathroom cannot be blocked. When the window is open, the bell of the church opposite rings very loudly.

The stay fully met our expectations and we would happily recommend the hotel.
The breakfast was good. Worth mentioning is that the dinner was excellent. In addition, the staff were very polite and friendly.

Nice hotel near the center
Very friendly and organized staff. the food is very good. The central location has its advantages and disadvantages (the road as a source of noise, but quickly in the recreation area).
